RE: Winning Combinations. - Justaway - Oct. 29, 2011 She only changed the tips...and AFAIK it was Hell Cancer not Kerbecs....and the funniest thing was when I battled her she thought I'd use MLD CH120 XF so she switched to WD and then I came up eith Vari 85 RF and KOed her bey XD...deception tactics ![]() RE: Winning Combinations. - Ga' - Oct. 29, 2011 (Oct. 29, 2011 3:49 PM)SAM10795 Wrote: deception tactics http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Deception-tactics-in-tournaments ![]() But your sister didn't use any other bey? Really? RE: Winning Combinations. - Janstarblast - Oct. 29, 2011 @Ga'Hooleone- She was kinda 'forced' to use just Hell... She was willing to get in with Basalt, but of course, we did not want it to dominate. Then she picked up Gravity. I guess SAM did not allow here to use it as he did not want the paint to chip off. Then, she picked up VariAres, the bey SAM wanted to use. Finally, the best she found was Hell Cancer. So, she battled using just that. She kinda lost her match to me, thanks to her frustration *joke*. She picked up her bey mid-battle thinking she had lost! Actually the truth is, my beyblade was not performing up to the mark as a stone had entered into my DS tip(I noticed it at the end of the tourney, but the effect was minute). So even though it looked like I was winning, I was sure to lose! ![]() But actually, the stone was just an excuse. I think it didn't really do any harm to Kerbecs... I think my launch was too weak to be good. Probably because I spent more than half my time practicing weak launches... RE: Winning Combinations. - Ga' - Oct. 29, 2011 A stone entered your DS tip?.... ![]() RE: Winning Combinations. - Justaway - Oct. 29, 2011 No..she wanted one which would win easily..I told her that Hell Kerbecs BD145(Boost) CS is a Balance type so she could use it but she used Cancer in place of Kerbecs and then changed the tips in every battle almost. She wanted RF as well but since I didnt have extra RF she used HF twice..once from HF/S and once from HF...she is tied with Janstarblast,Nitro and nickien for the fourth place...'four' people....tied for 'fourth' place...with 'four' wins each...and even 'four' losses...such a 'four'ce...XD EDIT: Yes she wanted Vari and Gravity as well but I denied both because of the reasons Jan said. RE: Winning Combinations. - Kujikato - Oct. 29, 2011 wpardin, can you post the results for Bey Bash: Halloween Horror please. and really, Jan, a stone in your DS?! @ SAM, wtf, that is hilarious XD RE: Winning Combinations. - Janstarblast - Oct. 29, 2011 @Izuma & Ga- Actually an extremely minute sand particle did. ![]() Thus, I refer to it as - stone. ![]() Also, the 'complicated' matter that SAM explained atm, is extremely.............................weird. I think there should have been some sort of tie breaker. ![]() RE: Winning Combinations. - Kujikato - Oct. 29, 2011 I agree, for today;s tournament, I saw a LOT of Anti-meta, Indonesia is a Attack type battleground, thus the most frequent counter (MF(-H) Basalt/Earth ____ **145 RF) was very successful. I almost managed to get into the finals but slipped in the semi finals................... IIRC, first place used MF-H Basalt Kerbecs ED145 RF?????? RE: Winning Combinations. - Dan - Oct. 29, 2011 That is a real shame. I'd assume a heavy Defense (MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS/MB) or Stamina (MF-H Phantom/Scythe Aquario BD145CS/EDS) would easily defeat those types of combinations.. RE: Winning Combinations. - RustyXD - Oct. 30, 2011 Yeah I agree show up with MF-H Basalt/Scythe/Phantom BD145/TH170/CS/EDS/MB and you would surely win. Even a LTSC would do IMO. If SAM's sister actually used basalt in a match would you DQ her? RE: Winning Combinations. - Kujikato - Oct. 30, 2011 @ Dan and RustyXD, nope, the attack type users here are very agressive, you havent seen Tonton's VariAres, it whoops carp real good. RE: Winning Combinations. - Uwik - Oct. 30, 2011 (Oct. 30, 2011 12:04 AM)RustyXD Wrote: If SAM's sister actually used basalt in a match would you DQ her? it wasn't an official 'ban'. So, if she had decided to still go on and used Basalt in the tourney. There was nothing SAM could do, hah. RE: Winning Combinations. - Shika blade - Oct. 30, 2011 Too bad, bassalt 230CS is still kinda spammed here. Thats kaskus use to beat me. Kaskus i think used bassalt to win RE: Winning Combinations. - Justaway - Oct. 30, 2011 (Oct. 30, 2011 5:36 AM)Uwik Wrote:(Oct. 30, 2011 12:04 AM)RustyXD Wrote: If SAM's sister actually used basalt in a match would you DQ her? Indeed but I had already told her a day before the tourney that if no one uses Basalt then you are not to use it either but if even 1 person ends up using it then you can use Basalt combos. RE: Winning Combinations. - RustyXD - Oct. 30, 2011 (Oct. 30, 2011 3:09 AM)Izuma Inzori Wrote: @ Dan and RustyXD, nope, the attack type users here are very agressive, you havent seen Tonton's VariAres, it whoops carp real good. Yeah and that's why it won. Thanks for the clarification Uwik , although I don't really like the idea of banning basalt (No offense guys ) but people should be allowed to use whatever they want in a tournament. But it is your tournament so I hope you guys had fun and it gets processed after the incident about 1st place. RE: Winning Combinations. - Justaway - Oct. 30, 2011 I hope so too...actually the day before I practised so much against Basalt combos with my sister that I was sure I could defeat most Basalt combos but dont know why I was unable to launch well and ended up losing to an LTSC ![]() RE: Winning Combinations. - Janstarblast - Oct. 30, 2011 I wonder why you didn't call out the re-shoot clause in the finals... You lost because you self-KOed, i.e. you actually launched outside the stadium... RE: Winning Combinations. - Justaway - Oct. 30, 2011 no...I launched inside and then Vari started coming backward from where I had launched and finally it ended up crossing the tornado ridge and going out...and also self-KOing due to the bey getting launched out of stadium is also the blader's fault and it is not considered for the reshoot clause. RE: Winning Combinations. - dragonbooster - Oct. 30, 2011 (Oct. 30, 2011 8:27 AM)Janstarblast Wrote: I wonder why you didn't call out the re-shoot clause in the finals... You lost because you self-KOed, i.e. you actually launched outside the stadium... Bolded: you can't use the reshoot clause because of that it has to be if the bey 'slips' of the launcher or the bey gets stuck on the launcher edit: beaten by sam RE: Winning Combinations. - Janstarblast - Oct. 30, 2011 Oh, really? I didn't know that. I thought re-shoot could be used when- 1. & 2.- The reasons you both mentioned. 3.- The beyblade shoots out of the stadium. 4.- The launcher malfunctioned and you ended up with an extremely weak launch. Sorry for off topic posts. RE: Winning Combinations. - wpardin - Oct. 30, 2011 Bey Bash Oct 29 2011 1st winner: Kaskus used MF-H LDD BD145MF, MF-H Hell_R145RF, MF-H Basalt 230CS 2nd winner: Prasetyo Wibowo used MF-L Hell Unicorno R145RF, a few Basalt combo but the Hell combo was his main choice 3rd Winner: Titanium Kaiser used MF-H Meteo L Drago (absorb) R145EWD I lost in a Tie Break because my CS failed me. Should've bought a new CS before the tourney. RE: Winning Combinations. - Kujikato - Oct. 30, 2011 3rd also used MF basalt Bull BD145 RS as i learned from him. RE: Winning Combinations. - Kei - Oct. 31, 2011 Things That Go Bumpking in the Night Again!: 1st: Kei - MF Phantom Aquario TH170D / MF L Drago Destroy BD145MF / Phantom Aquario AD145WD 2nd: Pockyx3 - MF Gravity Perseus R145RF / Scythe Kronos BD145CS 3rd: 1234beyblade - Phantom Cancer BD145CS These were the combos that were used in the finals between all three of us. I believe Pocky used a third combo as well, but I'm not sure. RE: Winning Combinations. - Janstarblast - Oct. 31, 2011 Hey Kei, what mode did you use TH170 in? Good combos those... I am especially fond of those attack combos... But seriously, no one used Blitz or VariAres? ![]() RE: Winning Combinations. - H8R - Oct. 31, 2011 that's quite a nice meta right there XD no basalt either haha ....Kei???? but yeah no VariAres or Blitz is weird |
