- From what I can tell, not very many people I've seen who dislike GT are saying the whole series will definitely suck (since we don't know that yet until the season is over), they're saying that so far from what they've seen, they think it has sucked or at least hasn't interested them. Big difference. Besides, there's only a handful of people who dislike GT whilst a lot of Burst fans still enjoy the season. It might not be quite as popular as the first two seasons or even Chouzetsu but it is still liked quite a lot by Burst fans.

Also, just because it's the season with the most flak in Burst, doesn't automatically mean it's received an overall negative reception. It just means it's not as positively reviewed as the other seasons. Hell, you even said it's got a mixed reaction (which does not equals bad). Even if someone didn't enjoy the season, why should it matter? It's called an opinion.

There are many people who hate the Metal Saga seasons, even more than the Burst seasons. Do I care? No.

- Yeah, of course we're judging it based on how much we enjoy the season so far, that's how we form our own opinion. It's not like we've ever said it's an objective fact that GT was bad, that would be ridiculous because everyone's views on the season is a subjective opinion. There's nothing ironic about that. Actually, what's ironic is that you're pretty much telling detractors to stop taking the season seriously, when you're doing the exact same thing with detractors.

For the record, I'm personally not a fan of GT but that's why I haven't written very many reviews for the episodes in that season (unless it's an episode I like) and believe it or not, I've tried on many occasions to force myself to like the season but as it turns out, I can't. It hasn't clicked with me but it has clicked with many people, so it all boils down to everyone's tastes.

- Besides the fact you've taken detractors of GT more seriously than they have with the season, the last sentence is such an obvious strawman since there's barely any people who've ever taken the Burst seasons on such a personal level. Sure, there's probably a few who do take it that seriously but people mainly comment about whether they find the episode of the week entertaining or not.

Also, a lot of fans do talk it out. It's called a discussion, not a 100% complementing chat. That's why many people with differing opinions like to discuss about their views on TV shows or any media. Talking it out does not equal to complete blind worship to GT.

I do agree that being too negative about something is annoying, which is why I've stopped doing it ages ago, but being too positive to the point of getting angry at people for daring to point out the flaws is actually more annoying. In a discussion, it's better to talk it out (as you've just said) and give differing views rather than forcing others to blindly worship something.

Also, being negative about it does not mean someone hates it or considers it bad.

And I know some Burst fans have told detractors that "If you don't like it, don't watch it" and yeah, that's a fair point. At one point, I did want to take a break from watching it but then I realised how will people form an opinion without watching the whole season (though of course, there are exceptions to this) which is why I still watch GT despite having a very meh reaction so far It's not finished yet and it could become decent later on. That and because I am a fan of the Burst franchise.

We really need more older characters to return from Season 1 to save GT series (or at least grace us with GT versions of Deathscyther, Kerbeus, Ragnaruk, Xcalibur, Zeus, Odin, Jormugand, Wyvern, Anubis, etc). I really don't care if they will just recycle teeth from the existing GT Chips, but I really want to see more of the older Dual Layers get their own revival release. It's like TT has just given up on innovating and improving their designs and just went with FTISSMC (f*** that innovation s***, sell more carp) with their budget.

Not really sure how GT story would pan out, but hopefully it is something better and it should happen soon, cuz the only things that help me cling to the series are the recurring characters from the previous series.

No of course not, who would go out of their way to say bad stuff about anyone just cuz they like something they don’t? They told me that they like GT, then saw people who hate GT, and then got mad at those people who hate it. So I asked when what they thought of ChoZ and they said they hated it so much and asked how anyone could like it. Yeah, never force yourself to do something to appease people, its just up to you.

Basically your reaction was basically what I was going to tell them (its okay if others don’t like it, just don’t judge or say rude things people to based on that) but I chose not to cuz I didn’t want to start an argument. It wasn’t anyone here, its been a few people from different sites and such.
