The only gigs I've had more fun at are Muse and the Prodigy. I don't even like the Prodigy's music that much but they are so awesome live. RE: Random Thoughts 3 - interesting posts only please - Benkei - Mar. 24, 2010 Ahh, where Beyblade truly began. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Uw5crBtIqs RE: Random Thoughts 3 - interesting posts only please - SonicManEXE - Mar. 24, 2010 In a way, yes. But there's a much older thing than that, the old Japanese tops wound by string. That's where Beyblade really got it's start. That's why Japan got it first, something like this nowadays would have English all over it. EDIT: By English, I mean English-speaking countries, like the US and Europe. It was supposed to be on an experiential brand, and oir group selected Broadway. We decided to do it in the format of a play (with printed pamphlets and everything). While we didn't cover all our technical stuff in the presentation (for the sake of fluidity) we included that in the report and pamphlet. Long story short the professor loved it, and I'm pretty sure that course is an A in the bag. ![]() RE: Random Thoughts 3 - interesting posts only please - BladerAce17 - Mar. 25, 2010 Good job! How hard is college, anyways? I have to start thinking about it soon (Ugh!) RE: Random Thoughts 3 - interesting posts only please - Khel - Mar. 25, 2010 It will be harder than high school, but the degree of which will vary based partially on your aptitudes, degree of choice, as well as the school you choose to go to. Generally though a Science/Engineering based degree will require a greater amount of effort than a solely humanities based one. Fields such as business etc will fall somewhere in between and will range in regards to your school and your choice of specialization. RE: Random Thoughts 3 - interesting posts only please - BladerAce17 - Mar. 25, 2010 Hmm, alright. Considering I want to pursue Theater Arts, I still want to go to college and get a degree as back-up. Thank you! Harder than High School might be pretty hard, but since I'm not in High School... RE: Random Thoughts 3 - interesting posts only please - Dirge - Mar. 25, 2010 Urgh im learning binary and hexidecial so much work haha its kinda fun in away RE: Random Thoughts 3 - interesting posts only please - Khel - Mar. 25, 2010 You're not in high school? I made that assumption since high school tends to be the point people actually think about post-secondary education. At the end of the day pursue what you have an interest in and are good at. Whatever field you go into you need to have some form of plan when leaving college. Not having a clue what you intend to do after college is a terrible thing since you are left without much direction and many times find yourselves under-prepared in comparison to your peers. A degree has very limited use if you haven't done anything outside of your courses. That's possibly some of the best advise that can be given to anyone going for post-secondary education. RE: Random Thoughts 3 - interesting posts only please - BladerAce17 - Mar. 25, 2010 (Mar. 25, 2010 4:02 AM)Khel Wrote: You're not in high school? I made that assumption since high school tends to be the point people actually think about post-secondary education. The assumption was to be expected. 8th Grade is very close to High School, so they have us thinking about college early. But thanks, I honestly have no clue on what to do besides theater arts (easily one of the hardest jobs to be successful in), so I really like the early help. Again, thanks! |
