Right now Mexico has no chance of beating Argentina.

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Storm Dragoon - Jun. 27, 2010

Stop doing this. Stop stating results without giving opinion or elaborating. Everyone reading this thread is aware of the result.

england lost to germany,lol i was expecting england to get to the finals this year there team was in quite good form before the world cup aswell Uncertain

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Train - Jun. 28, 2010

I did not expect England to win but I expected us to do something. That third goal breakaway was just something amazing to behold. My father put it best though that defence is just something insane It's the freaking Berlin wall. The AVERAGE height of those German players has to be like 6'2". We couldn't cross it even if we tried a hundred times.

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Dirge - Jun. 28, 2010

yeah and one of englands goals where disaloud when it was a goal so not cool,they needa have a video reff in football lol

ya the man doesn't accept 1 GOAL that's not fare

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Dirge - Jun. 28, 2010

1 goal can do alot tbh in terms of morual and spirit during a game and there have been alot of bad calls in the world cup so far in alot of cases costing teams quite dearly,even with the qulifers like that hand ball goal ect

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Gianmarco.93 - Jun. 28, 2010

Brazil-Cile 2
Nederland-Slovacchia* 2

I m going to bet this .
*Slovacchia is the italian name of the nation,i have no idea of the english name

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Daegor42 - Jun. 28, 2010

Assuming Nederland is the Netherlands, Slovacchia should be Slovakia.

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Gianmarco.93 - Jun. 28, 2010

XD
I m sorry for my really bad english!

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Daegor42 - Jun. 28, 2010

No worries, I've seen some people who speak English natively that type less legibly than you.

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - SK - Jun. 30, 2010

3 biggest confirmed transfers of the summer so far:

Villa: Valencia -> Barcelona
Silva: Valencia -> Manchester City
Di Maria: Benfica -> Real Madrid

Soon to be confirmed, but not 100% official yet:
Maicon: Inter -> Real Madrid
Toure: Barcelona -> Manchester City
Mata: Valencia -> Barcelona

Valencia are getting robbed of all their superstars, lol

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Serotonin - Jun. 30, 2010

Valencia are in massive amounts of debt, so it's not a huge surprise.

Just read your signature, LOL.

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - SK - Jun. 30, 2010

Cool

he can still score 10 goals in the remaining 3 games you know..i mean he did score 12 goals in 5 games back in april/may...

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Benkei - Jul. 02, 2010

Holland truly deserved that win, congratulations to them. They could easily reach the final now.

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Serotonin - Jul. 02, 2010

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - SK - Jul. 02, 2010

To, if you read this, i remember you said you thought football was boring cause you saw the last 10 mins of Chile - Spain. Please watch the last 10 mins of Uruguay - Ghana

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Benkei - Jul. 03, 2010

I am so F*****g pissed of right now Uruguay are such cheats and Ghana really deserved to win that. Holland had better smash them in the semi.

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - SK - Jul. 03, 2010

Congrats to all united nations fc fans on making the semis..

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - Benkei - Jul. 03, 2010

They are the teams that don't dive, cheat and generally ruin the sport. Germany played brilliantly, Messi and Argentina didn't at the end of the day.

RE: General Football (Soccer) Thread - SK - Jul. 03, 2010

^^^ if you're talking about Uruguay, Ghana have been cheating more in the WC. Suarez didn't even cheat, if he had gotten away with it, it could have been considered cheating. A Ghana player (the one who made the 1st shot on Suarez) was offside anyway. The most deserving team won.
