RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - CitrusNinja3 - Nov. 28, 2018 (Nov. 28, 2018 12:09 AM)originalzankye Wrote:Hey, Zankye. I had a thought: What if Turbo isn't just SlingShock? Like, what could they seriously do with Destroy, Friction, Eternal, Zephyr, Operate, and Zeta? The only thing I can see happening with those is a new gimmick. Or, better yet, they release the normal parts, meaning that SlingShock was just a test (unlikely). Something I hope they do is upgrade more parts in ways that aren't SlingShock. Maybe make them into what everyone thought Dash/Prime Drivers were. I know that this all seems like very hopeless speculation, but JoJo brought up a great point in her RBV 12 SlingShock Battle video, where she took off all the frames because they interfered with the rails. And guess what the sketchiest frame for SlingShock is: Lift. And 12 Lift is a two-part disc in the app. also, Destroy-S doesn't look like a SlingShock tip in the app. Neither do Operate, Eternal, or Friction. And I now hope that this is true so I don't get disappointed when Waves 2 and 3 are leaked...(Nov. 27, 2018 11:57 PM)McNuckFuggets Wrote: It'll be interesting to sew how far Hasbro rides this gimmickless Chou Z trend, because so far all we've got is some faster than usual dual-layers. This bey isnt even any better than the Evolution Roktavor in that regard. Like, what could they seriously do with Destroy, Friction, Eternal, Zephyr, Operate, and Zeta? The only thing I can see happening with those is a new gimmick. the app confirmed we'll have Operate-S,Destroy-S,Eternal-S and Friction-S. I could see something like with Ds-S,the free-spinning plate locks in somehow and becomes the tip (same with Et-S), Op-S having 4 modes, and with Friction in the app looking to lack any rubber or POM,just having the same type of gimmick of Massive-S RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - CitrusNinja3 - Nov. 28, 2018 (Nov. 28, 2018 2:33 AM)Grey Bey Wrote:(Nov. 28, 2018 2:05 AM)CitrusNinja3 Wrote: Hey, Zankye. And also, they might be placeholders, but I also think Destroy has too wide of a plate and too little aggression to become a SlingShock tip, uless you mean that the plate becomes the point of contact with the floor, like Hold. I did point out a long time ago that the -S on the performance tip could mean that we eventually get a normal release for those Beyblades but don't know as of right now. As for the removal of frames, I feel they could've had printed on the instructions to ensure that the Beys perform as good as they should in those stadiums the user has to remove the frame. Of course, they're just gonna be doing later releases with the actual parts needed on 2-Packs so not really too much of an issue. I haven't seen the Reach frame on any product recently so I'm not sure if or when they're gonna do it. As for the other parts developed in the app that doesn't look like SS, that could honestly be just an issue with the development with the app I don't think they can really show the gimmicks on that stuff especially with how Turbo broke the whole app after the last update.(Nov. 28, 2018 12:09 AM)originalzankye Wrote: I thought with Roktavor R4 even if it had no metal they would at least have the plastic wings on it but nope. I just realized that the orichalcum Hasbro is going to realease that I really wanted probably won’t have the right driver, and the gimmick might not work. Because they don't have any metal lmao But forreals, I was almost worried Hasbro releasing a good Orichalcum would devalue the legit TT one. Now that its more or less confirmed to have no gimmick, I'm almost relieved. Now we wait and see wether Octa has metal or not. Place your bets, fellas. It looks sooo good RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - IronFace879 - Dec. 01, 2018 I was honestly just getting used to Hasbro’s non-metal scheme when suddenly, Roktavor R4, Treptune T3 (a.k.a. Spiral Treptune T4) And Zeutron Z3 (a.k.a. Galaxy Zeutron Z4), every gimmick they ever had that was supposed to improve their own stats are GONE. No wonder they never made Planet they’re reducing every future God Layer beyblade to nothing. Just when I thought I was okay with every single Turbo bey not including metal in them. Oh I have an idea, they’re not what you call SwitchStrike layers. They’re not Turbo layers. They’re what Hasbro calls SLINGSGHOCK LAYERS, no wonder they don’t have gimmicks in them, even Guardian Kerbeus (a.k.a. Kerbeus K4) doesn’t have their gimmicks. I wish they broke them down into two separate groups, the Slingshock series where every single bey is focused on extreme speed, and the Turbo series, where each layer is more expensive and consists of actual metal (which will never be built ever again until they reassess the situation). That should’ve been their marketing plan. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - RexWolfen41 - Dec. 02, 2018 Apparently my local Target has Turbo! I just got the recolored Z Achilles a few hours ago. |
