Who knows, in terms of tournament progression it would work either way.

they might it's a high chance for this to happen if the writers do plan to do a tie breaker so that the bros beat every duo egend than they have to win . which looks very difficult for them to do. but either way lane and shu are finalist

This episode was just kinda sad.
The biggest issue is how rushed each battle feels. Free and Sisco never once have a launch shot in this tournament so far, which I owe to the reduced timeslot, but it just feels like they don't care about them. And none of them felt super substantial.
Free/Sisco vs Lane/Shu - What did you expect? Also, Free is also always the first one out, what gives? It's cool that Sisco has held on longer, but give Free a chance too. Free's revenge plot? Free and Lean didn't even directly fight each other in this match, he fights Shu and easily loses. But... hey, at least Shu finally beats Free properly, that is kinda neat.
Valt/Rantaro vs Aiga/Ranjiro - Boy, Ranjiro sure knows how to use that Storm Plate well huh? It's the reason why he does so well. It's cool to see Ranjiro be very competent here, he beats Rantaro by a burst this time. Aiga's battle against Valt was basically nothing. He dives into Valkyrie and knocks them out... sheesh... And yeah, none of the BC Sol members have beaten Aiga/Ranjiro.
Hikaru/Hyuga vs Lui/Drum - Well, again, what did you expect? The brothers can't lose at this point, since they'd be unable to fight the finals if they did. Anyway, there's not much to say, other than they use Twin Limit Break to burst both Longinus and Dragon. Drum's reaction was funny though.
Done. Battles were not that good. Rushed plot finishes. Next episode.
Hoenstly I believe Ranjiro using the storm plate a lot seems to be a sign of good skill if anything. He’s already showcased the fact that he can fight without it, he’s the only blader to straight up stop limit break the end with nothing but force. I think it’s more like a writing coincidence than a handicap they gave him after all, he’s been doing most of the work for Aiga IMO. As for Free yeah, I totally agree that he’s been getting short end of the stick treatment a lot throughout this tournament and this is coming from someone who isn’t very fond of Free so you know it must be serious.
Yeah It shows strategic thinking on his end, which is cool, though I have to wonder how he'd do in a standard beystadium with no gimmicks? It could arguably be for everyone too, though it feels he uses it a bit more. That's just me though. It is cool that he can use it very well, I'd just like to see him win on his own too. He does feel like he did most of the work though, Aiga did some, but Ranjiro arguably did more.
And Free definitely got the short end of things. His OP status is far long gone, and it feels like he's just more ignored now. I'm not saying he should still be OP, but he's gotta do better than this IMO.

This is what I see too. They want to make Valt and Rantaro fight the brothers again through a tie breaker match so that the brothers could beat Valt, since they haven't truly beaten him yet, I feel. Therefore allowing the brothers to beat every legend.

I think that tie breakers are almost inevitable at this point. Seems like there are far too many episodes in between for them not to happen.

I know right! It’s insane how much he has improved. To be honest, he was initially my least favourite returning character taking both the s5 manga and anime into account but his great performance and friendship with Aiga have started to grow on me. Heck, I would go as far as to say that he is downright slightly better than Aiga based on his performance throughout this tournament.
Ranjiro was honestly one of my least favourite characters in Cho-Z, as they didn't do much with him besides being Aiga's somewhat useless sidekick who never improved much as a blader. His friendship with Aiga did grow, but it feels a bit glossed over.
Here, he and Aiga work together to well, Aiga (who was initially cocky and always wanted to do things on his own) gave Ranjiro a chance to shine, becoming in sync with each other and the fact that he's become a lot more competent and badass as a blader as the Sparking season goes on. We've seen him get a little jealous of the Legendary Bladers and wanting to improve as a result by training, which paid off. The fact that he helped Aiga avoid the Limit Break The End during their battle against Shu/Lean was an awesome, if shortlived, moment.
He's still not one of my favourite characters (I mean I would still have brought Delta or Daina back in the Sparking anime over him TBH), but I appreciate him a bit more here. I thought he was going to end up really pointless, but his growth has surprised me.

Yeah I would like to see Ranjiro win without the storm plate some more although I don’t really think it has any in-universe implications on his power. He’s probably just as good as any legend. I believe the main reason why he uses it so much is because of his bey, Ragnaruk is stamina type bey that revolves heavily around tanking stamina so they have to give him strategies that correlate with his bey. The contrast between his bey and Aiga’s bey is also another reason why they needed him to use the plate because there really isn’t anything else they can do together especially since the double formation attack is already taken.
Yeah Free has really hit rock bottom here. He got taken out first when fighting a bey weaker than LTE, yeah Shu used the plate but a storm plate boosted Spriggan really isn’t much when you take into consideration the fact that Lane has the capacity to take on two legends at once and win on his own. They seemed to have buffed Silas a fair bit for this tournament and it’s kinda crazy that he was able to take on Lucifer on his own and lose by a mere spin finish after Free lost. Since Free and Silas are roughly on par with one another, I feel like Silas should have gotten taken out first since he was fighting Lane.

to be fair the end is a special case free would got knock out fast. I think free losing to shu like wasn't really an issue i mean if we look closer shu just stop nothing break momentum by using the storm plate an counter knockout it , the issue it's more the duration of the battle that's the problem if the battle was longer it would've been great but oh well such a shame , as for sisco and lane that one was strange cause I would think lane would burst him right away either sisco got buff or lane was weaker just fur that

Based on his tournament performance it definitely seems like he got a buff, but a buff would put him on par with Free not give him the ability to take Lucifer on by himself and lose by spin finish, I think he and Free should have instead tagged Lane but then again, I guess the writers can only do that so much.

yea sisco got buff them tag teaming lane would've been a better choice but they probably didn't do it cause of spriggan is free to do whatever it wants like how lui and drum tried to take out lane as a team but forgot spriggan was their the only time the tag was made at full strength was when ranjiro & aiga did it but spriggan didn't even interfere, honestly they would've probably still give it to lane his just to well kind of to strong even when his corner he get buff mid battle they made him a bit to much in the anime

I honestly understand your frustration, not only does Valt lose to one of the more lacklustre bladers of this tournament but to Aiga... again. Eh, while I have no problems with any of the results, I didn't really like the battles. First battle, Free used Nothing Break and Shu beat him without even using a special move. That's just bad imo. Also how did Lucifer kill Satan's stamina so easily? Also, I think Aiga and Ranjiro would have lost had Rantaro not pushed Ranjiro into the storm plate. Again, what's up with Aiga's moves having wrong names? Why is Infinite Dive called Buster? And I think that Lui and Drum didn't need to burst. I am hoping Valt and Rantaro at least win the next round (against Shu and Lane).

Yeah, you can tell they really wanted to get round 4 over with. Power levels were always outta the window before but this takes the cake.
Free/Sisco VS Shu/Lean: Wasn't expecting Nothing Break to get killed like that, but at least Satan didn't get bursted. Too short of a battle, and none of Free's revenge even mattered since he just passes it on to Valt. He didn't even target Lean or anything, and Lean wasn't interested in battling him either.
Valt/Rantaro VS Aiga/Ranjiro: Beat battle of the episode, as Ranjiro took things like a real BOSS. Hyper Tornado was amazing. Sure my favored team lost, but that was a pretty good play. You can say it was Rantaro's fault all you want, but Ranjiro didn't do jack to Valt. Achilles just knocked out Valkyrie. Again, you shouldn't put all the blame on Rantaro, as you could probably switch Valt and his positions and have the same happen, but Valt is too important to get knocked out first. I'll rant about that later.
Hyuga/Hikaru VS Lui/Drum: Why did it have to be two bursts? My only biased problem I guess. I did like the Twin Limit Break though, since the bros only had one tag move before.

I don’t know if that can really happen anymore because Silas and Free seemingly have to lose to the bros. Hopefully it does though
