You don't really have to if you don't want to, unless you're testing out different strategies with different characters.

no. the only handy thing will be when she gets to use pyro skill. also it would be cool if once you ascended her talents far enough (in later updates) you could let her use different weapons. (same for aether)

Lumine (44). After that I have Beidou, Kaeya, and Noelle sitting at 40. I use Kaeya now to deal with electro hypostasis as I have found using Kaeya to freeze and then ameno traveler to use swirl is a pretty powerful combo.
