RE: Hasbro Beys becoming cheaper?? - Shirobani02 - Oct. 15, 2018 (Oct. 15, 2018 4:42 AM)Jman jman Wrote: Interesting Maybe since turbo beys are coming out they needed to make room so they sell them cheap to get them out quicker or they put the wrong price on them on accident. haha but the weird thing was that only the single packs and the supergrip launcher were like this, all the other switchstrike stuff and the 2 packs were normal price RE: Hasbro Beys becoming cheaper?? - Jman jman - Oct. 15, 2018 Yes they we're released not that long a go and some of those beyblades people still want. Makes sense they would just try to clear the shelves. RE: Hasbro Beys becoming cheaper?? - CitrusNinja3 - Oct. 16, 2018 Single packs are supposed tp be very cheap, since they're never consistebt with the series, since the Evolution Single Packs are all Dual Layer Beys... RE: Beyblade Burst Turbo - (CHO-Z) Hasbro Version - BoostedBlader - Oct. 20, 2018 Yo,the theme song is awesome! RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - LegoBlader76 - Oct. 22, 2018 Is this post dead? If not, it’s not loading on my website. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeyCrafter - Oct. 22, 2018 It's just dry. No new news about Turbo, or nothing happening atm. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - IronFace879 - Oct. 22, 2018 Yup, just dead cold. Anyway, how would a slingshock work on Volcanic? Would the Slingshock launchers have a special tool to grab a piece of the driver and slide it to lock the free spin piece? I don’t know but what does the Slingshock launcher look like all around? RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeyCrafter - Oct. 22, 2018 (Oct. 22, 2018 8:01 AM)IronFace879 Wrote: Yup, just dead cold. I don’t know but what does the Slingshock launcher look like all around? We definitely know for sure that the Slingshock ripcord launcher is just a redesigned Switchstrike ripcord launcher and has absolutely nothing to do with the Slingshock gimmick. Volcanic doesn't look like it has the lever mechanism like Wedge, so it's only logical to assume that its using a twist lock mechanism. It is also shorter in Battle Ring mode, based on the picture of the wV starter pack. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Grey Bey - Oct. 23, 2018 maybe Hasbro's Volcanic is shorter as a way to try to prevent 12's breaking issues? RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeyCrafter - Oct. 23, 2018 (Oct. 23, 2018 12:43 AM)Grey Bey Wrote: maybe Hasbro's Volcanic is shorter as a way to try to prevent 12's breaking issues? If they wanted to deal with the 12 Disc issue, then why even have 12 still be there in the first place? Or only have the difference be the weight instead of changing the mold? The tip being shortened is for the Slingshock gimmick, not for the 12 Disc. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - abidjkhan7 - Oct. 23, 2018 Which toys r us did you go to is it in toronto RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - bladekid - Oct. 24, 2018 Guys, the hasbro turbo beys are plastic! At least they look plastic. The metal parts on the layers don't have the same luster as the disks, pretty much proving they are plastic. At least they look plastic. The metal parts on the layers don't have the same luster as the disks, pretty much proving they are plastic. Yeah, maybe. The "metal" parts on the layers also look like they're merged with the plastic below them, so... Also, near the middle of Geist Fafnir, there is plastic painted silver that looks like metal even when you have it in your hand, and it's giving off the same shine as Luinor L4's metal... Plus, Hasbro doesn't paint metal anymore RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Jinbee - Oct. 24, 2018 It would be pretty odd if these weren't metal, I mean Nightmare Luinor was metal. Though if they aren't, it would explain their lower costs. But surely Hasbro can't be that dumb right? Right? RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Grey Bey - Oct. 24, 2018 I'm seeing Zankye's video, yeah, the "metal" parts are plastic... RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Tempo. - Oct. 24, 2018 Its plastic. Its actually plastic. Oh my actual god. This is arguably worse than the stunt they pulled with the metal fury beys. Will they actually correct themselves? Slingshock beys are now more or less useless as far as competitive matchups are concerned. I am so unbelievably upset right now. They had the chance to do something great and maybe even improve, but they blew it. Needless to say I'm never buying from Hasbro again. TT master race babyyyyy RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Jinbee - Oct. 24, 2018 (Oct. 24, 2018 2:59 AM)Grey Bey Wrote: I'm seeing Zankye's video, yeah, the "metal" parts are plastic... Yeah it is unfortunate, he does make a good point regarding power creep and stuff but then it leaves powerful switchstrike layers as a problem. Even then it is pretty unfair for Hasbro bladers. This Hasbro wV weighs a pitiful 10 grams. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - DaJetsnake - Oct. 24, 2018 Lol Actually, this is really dumb. It's like they get insanely confident over the success of Evolution that they go the gimmicky-way once again (Trademarked by Hasbro) RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Jinbee - Oct. 24, 2018 I guess aH will be more bearable here at least. But how is rP going to perform if they omit the metal? And I was hoping maybe it was just wV and zA that were plastic so it forced you to buy thr set for hopefully a metal one. But that theory would be shot out the window if eF and bL are plastic too. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - originalzankye - Oct. 24, 2018 RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - TrainiacJ - Oct. 24, 2018 Welp, the shows over for Hasburst. It was fun while it lasted, but I guess they really decided to nix any current competitive edge they could have, huh. One could argue the un-metaled Layers could be viable for if/when Burst Limited becomes a thing, but that's not going to happen until a few years after Burst ends, and by then Hasbro won't be making much money off of them. Other than that, there's Hasbro-Only format, which barely anyone hosts tournaments for, so that's a bust too. All in all, this was a terrible decision by Hasbro. Between the Slingshockification of all the Driver and this, Cho-Z has been altered to the point it's incomparable to it's Takara Tomy counterpart. Shows us for thinking they'd learned sense after Evolution, haha. |
