haha The opening reminds me of "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse with its old-western style guitar riff.
Its pretty good until around the 3:00 mark when it goes all metal. The kind of jarring shift in tempo there is sort of strange...
I'm also not too keen on the vocals. They aren't bad at all, but they just aren't my style.

I don't see how "especially" proves your point. I'm running standard Gamma and I calibrated it, but even out of the box it was too dark.

well besides that, macbooks have a reputation for have less than stellar screens compared to their macbook pro brothers.
your decision to have the screen glossy (or whatever the option is at well) may also have an adverse effect

I thought both of them were really good for a local band.
my city is full of hardcore bands that are pretty bad,
and you guys aren't NEARLY as big as some of the bands out here have grown to be.
if anyone deserves the spotlight, it would be you =)

i'm not i think you might be taking me a bit too seriously, i am playin
apple standardized the application lookout in leopard, it even overrides the preferences of whatever the person who wrote the app set it as
the macbook display uncalibrated is really washed out so i used supercal and now everything looks fine except for the darknessssss

is your screen matte or glossy? im looking at what i believe is a glossy macbook and it doesnt look THAT dark (and yeah its running leopard). then again i might not care as much since its not my main computer...

Our whole scene is just hardcore/metal bands. And we play just no fringes rock.
