I only bought a Gaia Dragoon G for it's sub-ring to try out a Grinder.
Other than that don't use it.
Instead you can use an Eight Spiker if you want.

my 8-Spiker tends to not make the other beyblade recoil as much in comparism to its own. (IMO, all dragoon ARs tend to do that.)
Note: i had the same BB/SG/WD the only difference was Dragoon G AR and the Strata G AR/SR. The Dragoon one tended to just go flying backwards on contact while Strata barely moved

Strata Wins:
Pocket: 7
OutSpin: 3
Dragoon Wins:
Pocket: 4
Outspin: 6
Note: this was done in Hasbro Earthquake Stadium. And i personally think that atleast 3 of the Outspins by Dragoon were because of him being launched in second (I launched strata in first)
If u want to use something w/o Strata i would say this

SG: Right/Left (Right for Master AR, left for G AR)

Use Magical Ape and Circle Heavy. Change the RC to Semi-Flat Core (Driger MS) if you want a more defensive combo, it has more friction when spinning on the stadium floor than the Metal Semi-Flat Core will.

*2 hours after Kei responds* hey wait a secnd, i just realized that if u have LESS friction (As metal tips do) u have more rotation-speed and if u have more rotation-speed u have more defence. So actually shouldnt u have Defence either way?

What is the best combo I can make out of a Dragoon, Dranzer & Driger V2?
I'm thinking maybe:
AR: Driger V2
WD: 10 Balance
SP: Driger V2
SG & BB: Dranzer V2
However, I don't really have much experience with V2 blades so this combo is likely to be kinda rubbish.
All help is appreciated.

yah i knew that, but i dont really get how its a doble-edged sword. Its not ment to have defence, or else it would have a heavier WD.

I'd keep that DEMS (Dark Effigy) uncustomized. It's Metal Change Core is good enough for Attack/Survival. I'd try getting Jiraiya MS for its RC which has great defense as well as survival.

There's not much your buddy could do.
Just upgrade Dranzer V2 by adding a MG Core from Flash Leopard or Driger V2 to it.
