RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - DRAGON KING - Jul. 10, 2014 http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=141340247310# In the pile of bits, those stickers are real, right ? Apparently it is the Hasbro version : http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b267/Archdoom/Multiplestickers.png RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Dark_Mousy - Jul. 10, 2014 So I got a new lot of new Plastics in last night. And apparently they came with Bot Protectors. Are those legal for tournament use?? RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Angry Face - Jul. 10, 2014 If you're referring to those clear cover-things that fit over the smaller bit pieces, then yes, they're legal (but are they really called bit protectors too?). RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Tri - Jul. 10, 2014 I actually believe they are called bit protectors. I feel like I saw it on the wiki or on some instruction manual with one of the beys. Kinda weird they would be haha. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - ~Stoney~ - Jul. 10, 2014 They are called bit protectors. Many of the old beys (mostly from the 4-layer series) came with them, but also some early releases from the A to F series. So there's no reason they should be illegal, since they're original. Are those legal for tournament use?? during the early stages of beyblade, 4 layer beys had a clear plastic object that was placed over the bit chip called "bit protector". back in the days, bit chips were a bit smaller in size, think of it as how modern cell phones use micro sim cards, the bit protector would help latch the bit chip into the attack ring. they're completely legal, and very rare now a days. you can use the modern bit chips in the earlier attack rings, and use the earlier bit chips on more modern attack rings, but of course, you'd need the bit protector to lock it in. they were made mostly to help lock the smaller bit chips in place. edit: seems like 3 other users answered the question before me, d'oh. I should read more. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - DRAGON KING - Jul. 10, 2014 What beyblades do those Wide Defence and Wide survivor (?) Weight disks come on? RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - ~Stoney~ - Jul. 10, 2014 They didn´t come with any specific bey. At most sometimes with some of those, which have random WD´s (like Venus), but I´m not even sura about that. http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/index.php/Beyblade_Parts_List RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Wombat - Jul. 10, 2014 They only come in certain Random Boosters, where the parts are random. IIRC it's not like MFB where you get one of eight set Beyblades, you get one of each part, randomly selected from the set of contents. For example, you could open RB6 and get: Pink Whale Attacker from the Pink Seaborg Wide Defense Grey Right SG from the Grey Galzzly Blue SG Metal Change Base from the blue Driger S ...Or at least I think that's how it works. It's much easier to buy it separately off a WBO member. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Neo - Jul. 10, 2014 Most of the beys are rare but have 0% competitive usage. The only one everyone needs is Uriel 2; specifically for the rubber. The rest is a display piece. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Neo - Jul. 12, 2014 Yo guys! Question, what do YOU guys think the next big box of Takara Plastic Beyblades will be?! It used to be Driger, Gaia DG, and Draciel MS for $5 a pop. Before that; extremely cheap $5 Dragoon G's! (the good days!) Now we have $8 Draciel G's! So what's next? Dranzer G? THE GT SERIES FOR $5?! I understand that even for Attack types Defense Ring is the best SP, so that makes me think Cross Surviver may be better than Reverse Attack since they do similar things. But I'm using Cross Griffon as an AR, and since it lines up almost perfectly with Reverse Attack I've been using that instead because synergy. Fin Tector is good if you can control the recoil. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Wombat - Jul. 14, 2014 From what I hear Fin Tector isn't as good as people thought it was originally. But I'll stick with Reverse Attack unless someone tells me otherwise or I can get a Defense Ring. Also, I have a question about Circle Survivor combos. From what I've heard several times Rock Bison's EG is superior to Wolborg 4's for this purpose, but I'm confused on which part of Rock Bison to use exactly. Do I use the setup on the right or the left? Spoiler (Click to View) I've been told that the left one is correct, but due to the Rock Bison CEW holder thing being longer I have trouble keeping Wolborg 4's CEW on there tightly and that's been causing issues. Spoiler (Click to View) RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Neo - Jul. 14, 2014 I just ordered a Draciel V2 (Got him cheap suckers hah. You guys didn't even see the auction ![]() The one on the left is correct, yes. Rock Bison's EG gradually releases instead of going back and forth and it's pretty great for LAD. Rock Bison has the same ability as well. I'm getting both, and I'll test it as well. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - 6 God - Jul. 14, 2014 What is this Beyblade? And how much could I get for it? Spoiler (Click to View) RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Neo - Jul. 14, 2014 That's Draciel F. It's about $16 or so. It's pretty banged up, I wouldn't sell it if I were you. Edited: There's my real answer. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Angry Face - Jul. 14, 2014 I don't know about you, but that looks like a regular green Draciel F with a painted turquoise AR... RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - 6 God - Jul. 14, 2014 I think it was painted... look at the underside of the AR in the second picture. How much is a Draciel F, haha. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Angry Face - Jul. 14, 2014 I think a Draciel F in good condition is worth about $10, but the paint on this one probably won't add to its value. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - ~Stoney~ - Jul. 14, 2014 Actually, a self-painted Draciel F is worthless. It doesn´t have any competitive parts and since it isn´t original anymore, it doesn´t have any value for collectors. But Draciel without paint wouldn´t be more than 10 bucks or so as well... |
