That isn't good news for the tips of my two beys... Yup. And I have a tendency to want the beys of my favourite characters... Like Shinobu or Tsubasa. (And I have neither Salamander or Eagle. Yet.) RE: When you were a noob...... - DefStamina88 - Dec. 08, 2014 I remember my first tournament when I was 13. We had a lot of parts, and I remember going in with Dark Cancer DF145 WD and Dark Libra ED145 SD. I expected to wreck my way through everybody, because i used those combos on Beybladebattles (anybody remember that? XD). I get there and Dark_Mousy basically rearranges my parts using what I have to give me the best that he can make me (which was Earth Cancer DF145 WD. So close Def XD). I went 1-6. My bro went 1-6 with an Earth Bull D125 SD, and took one round off of a Death Kerbecs 145 WD. My only win was against him. XD RE: When you were a noob...... - MissingNo. - Dec. 08, 2014 When I was thinking that Poison is the best fusion wheel ever... What a shame. RE: When you were a noob...... - AerialSnack - Dec. 08, 2014 Oh my god, when I was a noob I thought Dark was the best metal wheel ever, and that storm was an amazing defense wheel. I am so ashamed of all the posts I have made on this website when I first started. The only post that led to good things is the one in my sig. I probably gave Kai-V an Aneurysm. You froze your beyblade? ... I actually kinda want to do that.... I also figured out that launchers did not stir chocolate milk very well...Dang it, you're right. RE: When you were a noob...... - Tri - Apr. 15, 2015 Eh, that's kind of a lose-lose sutuation considering neither are really worth their parts lol. I will confess and say I have done most of the "noob" things in this thread. When I played, even when I had a grasp on everything, I would always use the wrong side of the tool over and over again wondering why the hell it wouldn't work … RE: When you were a noob...... - Dual - Apr. 15, 2015 (Apr. 15, 2015 2:48 AM)GhostShot Wrote:Some of the greatest discoveries were made by people who refused to just take someone else's word for it.(Dec. 07, 2014 5:21 AM)Dual Wrote:Really you couldnt take my word for it you,has to test. I think I stopped competing when 4D was released. I have no clue about 4D and on Beyblades at all. I think good competitive combos are dependent on the local meta-game and specific match-ups, regardless of its deemed solo-testing merits. London was one of the most competitive places back then and many of the winning combos never featured on the tier lists. I remember a lot of innovation; often our ideas would converge on the same combos, independently. I used parts like Flame, S130, FS and HF/S as part of combos which reflected how I wanted to play. Those parts were deemed bad at the time but they managed to work. RE: When you were a noob...... - Dracieleone - May. 05, 2015 Does using a Turtle Survivor with a Ten Wide(metal side up) on a Fortress Base with SG Oil Ball count as a noob thing to do? I don't have many plastics, and I was trying to build a defense combo using only Draciel parts. RE: When you were a noob...... - Meta madness - May. 15, 2015 I was a "instant pro" in my childhood... And then Burning Cerberus vanished once he hit the stove...Miss those days. RE: When you were a noob...... - royallydoomed - May. 15, 2015 my noob moments were when i got a bag of like 4 plastics iin it. at the time i was little and didnt know what they were. i also didnt have a stadium so i didnt know what to do with them. i didnt know there were stadiums for them back then. so i sold them for a dollar... biggest regret ive made. by what i remember they were death driger, dranzer V, driger s, and flash leopard. RE: When you were a noob...... - Mitsu - May. 15, 2015 So, here's a funny story. When I was in grade four, for the first I took part in my Public School's yearly speech competition. My topic in this case was Beyblade. At the time when we needed to research our topics, while everyone in my class was finding information, I clearly remember telling my teacher that I didn't need to do research because I knew everything there was to know about Beyblade. But better yet, I actually represented my class! In my speech, I remember explaining the five pieces of a Beyblade, how I was a Beyblade expert and how I also had a special bond with Flame Libra, this all being in front of like 100 other kids. Fabulous. Really trying my hardest to dig up this speech. It'd be hilarious to post. XD RE: When you were a noob...... - Jinbee - Jun. 04, 2015 Oh boy... I'll talk about my first beyblading experience ever, then my first time in the WBO. When I first started beyblading, I absolutely sucked at it because launching it for the first time felt weird so I ended up losing when launching it in a sporadic angle, my first beyblade was unfortunately the dark blue Hayate, it was horrible... It didn't help that me and my cousins battled in a flimsy black arena which looked like a trash bag, as well as being as soft, otherwise the hard tiled floor would be another option... Luckily, I was still hooked up and I love the idea of it and my mother got me a beyblade I didn't ask for but loved and why I wanted to continue, Dragoon S. Had so much fun with it and impersonating the show. Eventually, I got the Draciel G RC beyblade and at first it was a little mediocre, but then I took off the attack ring and plastic weight disk off making it a green cylinder, it was at the time invincible! Beating even HMS Beyblades and I thought nothing could defeat it. When MFB rolled around and I got a Hasbro Rock Leone, the Draciel G RC beyblade without an attack ring or plastic weight disk still was the strongest, but I soon lost interest in that and loved Rock Leone. At the time, I looked at the stats and I believed them, meaning I went on BeybladeBattles.com and actually got combos there! Dark Sagittario ED145B, how could I forget your high stats? I remember being bummed out that it was horrible. I then discovered all the descriptions in Toywiz linking to the WBO, the things it said was professional and seemingly realistic to me, but for some reason I never knew about the site that much yet and I wasn't really into it until Phantom Orion B thread came up, I checked the site out and joined very later on when before Berserker Begirados came in. Then my first experience as a WBO member... Oh boy... I hated it, despised nearly every member deep down inside because at the time, taking that much criticism as a new member as well as abiding by what seemed to be specific rules at first was off putting to me. Of course now I'm much different from when I was 13, hopefully. Knowing the site more and being more knowledgable and having these new friends now just makes this one of my favourite sites, and is one I go to everyday. So that's my story, okay I'm sorry for the long backstory which wasn't relevant but I thought it would transition each section better. RE: When you were a noob...... - Raiyanblader - Jun. 04, 2015 When I got my 3rd bey ( lightning Ldrago ) it said comes with ripcord launcher. And I actually believed it was the best launcher in the world XD Now I feel like a noob because of that RE: When you were a noob...... - Jinbee - Jun. 04, 2015 I use to believe that any type of launcher is the same and any could be used... I still feel stupid using Beybladebattles.com to make my combos. RE: When you were a noob...... - Leone 7 - Jun. 04, 2015 when i was a noob i used to call the parts by the beys name i got it from like wd was earth egales tip to me back in the day RE: When you were a noob...... - Raiyanblader - Jun. 05, 2015 Some of my friends call the bey by it s face.
