RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - Kai-V - Mar. 11, 2012 Hm, closer to April 30th, in my opinion ... Even with the initial tests, we will need a lot of comparison results from as many people as possible, and then we need to discuss, among the Committee, what we will do in terms of formats and stadiums. RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - Arupaeo - Mar. 11, 2012 Yes, of course. But March 31st the Zero-G beys ship, right? So the first tournament after this (on April 7th) we will have bladers coming with both MFB beys and Zero-G beys. Are we going to allow Samurai Ifraid into a BB-10 to compete against Duo, Phantom and the rest? The answer to that question is what I anticipate us having close to March 31. RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - Kai-V - Mar. 11, 2012 Well, even right now I do not see why we would not allow them. Tracks and Bottoms are cross-compatible. The only reason I can see is if they somehow dominate, but then that is what testing partly exists for, and why I think it could be delayed until later in April. RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - th!nk - Mar. 12, 2012 The question still remains whether or not they are intended for use in BB-10, or only their crazy stadia. That also risks providing an out along the lines of "well we're using them in bb-10 so no need to bother with the crazy stadiums." Though, I'm sure you'll give it much more thorough thought than that RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - Kai-V - Mar. 13, 2012 Other/better pictures of Samurai Ifraid's individual parts : http://ameblo.jp/queen-of-snow/image-11192124952-11850305757.html RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - Ga' - Mar. 13, 2012 Holy carp, that W145. It looks like a mini UW145, haha. I can't wait for this release! I'm buying on when it comes out for sure. RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - Kai-V - Mar. 13, 2012 W145's wings, just like DF145's, will probably be entirely negligible though. DF145 had no effect. RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - CrownClown - Mar. 13, 2012 The part I really want to see out of this bey is CF. I have no clue how it would perform in a battle , but it will be a very neat bottom to do tests with. It might be a good tip to use in the zero G stadiums because just maybe the circle will hit the floor on the stadium while it is swaying and do some crazy stunt.... Doubtful. CF catches onto the curve of the stadium to reach high speeds. It is also capable of "stall-KOing" opponents. Hope that clears things up. W145? needz moar wings RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - Kai-V - Mar. 14, 2012 The stub for Samurai Ifraid W145CF is up : http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/index.php/Samurai_Ifraid_W145CF RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - kbuno50 - Mar. 14, 2012 You spelled dodecagon as dodecagone. Edit: It's in the w145 section RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - Raigeko13 - Mar. 14, 2012 Only a couple errors in the article as a whole, but since it's not even released, it will do for now. Excellent article for the information currently available at hand Kai-V. RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - LeonTempest - Mar. 14, 2012 Despite downforce being negligible, I belive that it would be more useful in the Zero-G environment. Downforce would benifit these beys in such a chaotic environment. Also, looking at the design of W145, it appears to be an improved version of DF145, so perhaps the effect will be greater this time? Hard to say RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - Raigeko13 - Mar. 14, 2012 (Mar. 14, 2012 3:37 AM)LeonTempestXIII Wrote: Despite downforce being negligible, I belive that it would be more useful in the Zero-G environment. Hard to say I really doubt it even now. More wings doesn't necessarily mean it WILL do something, but it will most likely have more (like it has any) effect than something than DF145. Wind doesn't affect metal unless it is VERY strong, and DF145 hasn't shown any signs other than adding a couple of seconds (at most) to spin time. Doubt that W145 will be any different. Spoiler (Click to View) RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - kbuno50 - Mar. 14, 2012 Even though it may have little to no effect, the wings still add weight. That's what DF145 did; it just added weight and was a sub for a normal 145. I don't think W145 will really do anytthing... That's a really wide tip. (Slightly Off-Topic) I'm actually wondering how BD145 will perform in a Zero-G Attack stadium. RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - th!nk - Mar. 17, 2012 Basically the same size as S130 (So yeah, I call MSF Ifraid Ifraid S130CF) Here's a quick picture from my phone: [Image: BDS130.jpg] RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - Raigeko13 - Mar. 17, 2012 S130 anyone? Haha, quite the large part. RE: BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid W145CF - Kai-V - Mar. 25, 2012 The latest news : A Stone Face weighs 1.2 grams. You can see the difference with the previous Faces here. Ifraid weighs 30.4 grams. Samurai weighs 5.4 grams. For a total for Samurai Ifraid of 35.8 grams. W145 weighs 2.2 grams. CF weighs 2.5 grams. As a whole Beybalde, Samurai Ifraid W145CF weighs 41.6 grams. Therefore, Zero-G Beyblades are probably only a threat to previous Metal Fight Beybladese when they do Synchrom ... There do seem to be small walls to block the insertion of left-spin prongs, as can be seen on the underside of Ifraid : http://ameblo.jp/takunanabey/image-11202529667-11872010490.html An underside which is quite hollow though ... Look at the details on Samurai : http://ameblo.jp/takunanabey/image-11202529667-11872020018.html Cool design for W145, even though it will probably be useless : http://ameblo.jp/takunanabey/image-11202529667-11872043377.html There seems to be no problem at all with combining an Ifraid with another Ifraid, and, paired with W145CF, the whole Beyblade weighs 70.4 grams. |
