when you use cutters the get the pieces of the runners theres sometimes still asmall lump of plastice from the runners on there, so we use toe nail clippers to clip that plastic off

i get mine from hobby link japan rather cheap too ordered 00 raiser, cherudim, SD exia r II and SD 0 gundam, £25 without postage prob £35 to £40 with postage instead of one model off ebay for £35 with postage

Oooo, we got some people here into gundam modeling? Awesome pie.
I've done a small bit of it myself, a Throne Drei, Tieren Ground Type, al-Saachez Aeu Enact Custom Agrissa Type, and a GN-X (all 1/144 HG).
I've got a RX-78-2 30th Anniversary Version, and a RX-121-1 Hazel-Custom on the way. But before I build these, I'm going to try and wait until I get an air brush and compressor (so long as my impatience doesn't get the better of me).

I'm so tempted to buy one of these! I can't decide whether to wait untill the London expo or buy online, I guess buying online would be cheaper but it's hastle and i'd like to see what i'm buying in front of me.

Well, Gundam Nation, and Gundam Mad are some decent UK based stores. If you find trust worthy ebay sellers, you can get them pretty cheap (same price as GM and GN, but the P&P is covered). And if your going to the expo, they will be the same price as stated on their sites, but no P&P.
Both Gundam Mad, and Gundam Nation have some good photos of the models. But they are professionally constructed and painted. In any case, they'll give you a good idea of what a finished model look like.

the only problem with gundam mad is they don't seem to stock often, still waiting for 1/144 dynames to re-stock, i use hobby link japan, they have a wider range of stuff as well as other models aswell, like zoids, dbz models etc

Yeah, i've been looking at Gundam Mad. I expected Gundam models to be more expensive then they are, especially the HG 1/100 and HG 1/144 ones. If they're the same price at the Expo i'm waiting then.

Ebay is the cheapest place to get Gundam Models individually. Figure_house is a really good seller, he always pack ur stuff in bubble wrap in a cardboard box and the shipping is fast. Takes a 1-2 week.
MOJ has insanely cheap lots.

also if i get gundams which should i get? i like cool looking ones with wings and swords(i prefer swords over gun, unless if the gun is rlly cool).

I make all kind of gundams, depending on my mood. Yesterday I build the HG 1/144 Reborns gundam, which is totally sick as. Best HG I've ever built.
