My god it was... very unfulfilling to say the least. I mean yeah... it is just the manga but there are many things that feel... incomplete. What ever happens to Alexander? Does he get arrested? Is he unhappy? Will he close down Snake Pit? Will he continue? Well we don't know because the manga doesn't show what happens to him after which is so lame. Shu is also instantly forgiven by Valt it seems, predictably despite all the things Shu did, such as: lying about his death to his friends,  having no problem sending his friends down the pit, which was the very excuse he used to explain how he "died", so the implications were wrong. He also destroyed Lui's beyblade... on purpose, whereas Lui didn't on purpose. The last panel is just Valt standing in some dull background with gV... and he's already number 1 blader now? He hasn't beaten Lui yet which really bothers me.

Yeah overall this chapter was pretty lame honestly, I hope the anime doesn't do this. Oh and speaking of which, if Shu is also forgiven there too, then let's not forget that in addition to what he did in the manga, he destroyed mG, was a menace in Xhaka's beyclub, seemed to purposely destroy Valkyries Reboot. Need I bring up that he not only... LIED about his death... to his FRIENDS... just to get better at a game of (mostly) realistic spinning tops, but he sent them all to the pit, which is also what he initially used to explain his own "death"! Shu at least deserves... some punishment, or at least a lesson taught.

Lol lui broke legend spriggan on purpose just to provoked shu so that's invalid but the others your right but what did you expect shu being evil in the first place was just to give valt a reason to win the tournament without everyone being mad cause logically speaking valt wasn't even supposed to beat free an as for Valt being #1 makes since he doesn't need to beat lui for that Lui was destroyed by shu and Valt beat the former #1 so he doesn't need to beat lui anymore the only place for him to beat lui is at another national tournament not the world league anymore

On the subject of the manga's ending, I like that they didn't let Shu win here. It would have validated all of the stupid edgelord stuff he's done this series and arguably since the very beginning. I think the Ashram plot is more important to the anime, so we might see it resolved there. I have a feeling they might bring back Ashram for Chouzetsu, but we'll just have to wait and see. I feel like Shu is getting off a little too easily for all the stuff he's done, but Valt is a forgiving bean, I don't think everyone else is going to let him off to that extent, haha.

On the subject of Chouzetsu, I've got a feeling the Zed Achilles blader is going to be a Daichi/Masamune type of character. Characters like that always seem to pop up when the main character becomes the #1, and they always have beys that sort of parallel to the main character's. (Dragoon/Gaia Dragoon, Pegasis/Unicorno, and now Valkyrie/Achilles) Achilles was the strongest warrior in greek lore, so I think it makes sense for it to parallel Valkyrie, which is designed like a generic knight on a horse bc the avatar designers were dumb, haha

Oh so that was on purpose? That makes a bit more sense then. But for the rest there's no excusing that. No Shu doesn't have to be evil for Valt to win the tournament, sure it gives him more of a reason but Valt is a determined kid who wants to win anyway and he's going to win it via plot armour anyhow.

I disagree, Shu being evil wasn't made to please anyone who hated him, because there is some (albeit a dumb one) reason behind Shu's change, this was planned from the start, and it was most certainly not for the purposes of pleasing his haters. Yes I am very clearly aware that Burst isn't meant to be like Metal Saga or the Original trilogy, yet it is trying to be so that doesn't help. Sure, Valt's win was probably to save him, and I won't deny that Shu was a good choice for a villain, but one good choice doesn't save from his rather odd choices. The characters around him shouldn't have forgotten what he did, just because Shu looks like he's being "redeemed" after he lost to Valt, doesn't make everything he did okay or justifiable, it would've been better if Shu looked like he showed some remorse to those around him.

Before you pull the "Brooklyn" card, I also found his easy forgiveness really dumb considering he almost destroyed the world, but I find Shu's more glaring. While Shu didn't do anything nearly as bad, I was hoping it was dealt more realistically or that they improved on that trope, knowing how Burst likes to do things a little differently. And I guess you could argue that Brooklyn looked possessed by his bit beast but I'm not really sure on that, though if he was then he gets the same excuse as Toby where he was brainwashed. Likely not though. But if it happens on any anime, whatever I suppose.

And once again, no I doubt the fans had anything to do with Shu's change, it was originally going to be changed anyway as there were many things in the first season leading up to this event, the Lui and Shu plot was clearly planned from the start, it's probably also why Valt was unsuccessful with his revenge against Lui. If you want to bring fans into this, then I doubt anyone asked for Valt to lose that final battle, given how mixed people were with that conclusion. The writers wouldn't just change Shu's character on a dime like that just because a handful of fans disliked his first one. Honestly this is what I'm sticking to, the writers don't just change a major character for fans.
