Um Insomniac...
My friend hit himself in the face with his Savage Blade Hurculeo (Can't spell.)
It hit a rock and flew back at him.
I couldn't stop laughing.
Best. Day. Of my vacation. XD

RE: Beywheelz [TOYS - NOT ANIME] - sarabscientist - Aug. 31, 2012

Yeah, but like seriously. Its like launching a Beyblade in a stadium and stuffing your face into it afterwards. Also, the thing about breaking stuff like vases and TV's, you should know better than launching them randomly indoors [Image: 12.png]

No.

Honestly, that's just stupidity. If that offends you... then don't be stupid, lol.

When you only roll on the tire anyway, who cares.

I have a whole load of 10bBistool related responses for this but I stumbled upon a flywheelz the other day. The design of them as a whole always did resemble beyblade strongly anyway, they're both heavily based on ripcords or similar, and both had different classification systems, beywheelz takes it further by offering some amount of customization.

Nonetheless, I think you could have some fun with launching techniques with these, in some kind of game involving one getting past the other through a narrow gap or something (what they're going for with the "stadiums" they've released, I guess).

RE: Beywheelz [TOYS - NOT ANIME] - Tri - Aug. 31, 2012

I made an effective Launching Technique (Well, that works for me) and some other people.

It's effectiveness works with speed types the best (or just really round wheelz)

I call it the "Straight Shoot" (Not good at naming things, nor explaining so it may be hard to read)

Tri Me Wrote:I bought a BeyWheel not that long ago and immediately thought of ideas for a metagame structure. I came up with a launching technique that I find very useful. (NOTE- I am not good at describing stuff like Insomniac)

The most effective I could come up with is basically exactly like the sliding shoot.

This works for me, Please test to autheticate this if you own at least one BeyWheel. It's best done in long, flat surfaces. After mastering it, the Wheel should be able to go straight without turning or going crazy and spilling tour cat's food bowl....

Anyways.... I changed the name to "Straight Shoot".

Rules for Straight Shoot
  • Don't lean the launcher much, which can result in turning.
  • Make sure it's held straight out.
  • Pull the ripcord towards your body, but also push the launcher away from your body.
  • Be sure not to rip to hard because the Ripcords can slip easy.

I don't really know how that happened, but that had to hurt.

well the beyblade geeks did break their flat screen with beywheelz

Seriously, there is just nowhere in my house or on 'our land' that I can think of safely launching a tire forward or up in the air. I have no idea what sort of property other people have, but as a parent, I would really hesitate before purchasing BeyWheelz ...

I can also see what Kai-V is saying, but thankfully, I have a LONG narrow hallway in my house to practice shooting in a straight line. Ever since I bought my Claw Shredder Kerbecks and my Pegasus Stunt stadium, I've been addicted. The stadium is actually very fun.

RE: Beywheelz [TOYS - NOT ANIME] - K!d Death - Aug. 31, 2012

I agree With Kai-V:They're effing dangerous.

But that doesn't mean they're not fun Tongue_out

I don't know where you live, or the structure of your house. But mines is quite large and it has an "open-concept" so there are a lot of large spaces. The basement is huge as well. But that is not the point. Think of Beyblades as a board game. Where you sit down and play. Beywheelz on the other hand could essentially be compared to "floor hockey". No parent in the right mind would let kids play floor hockey in the family room in front of the TV set. Rather, you could play in the basement or in the driveway. This is how Beyblades and Beywheelz are different. Beyblades are regulated (stadiums) but Beywheelz can essentially be launched anywhere (including pavement) because they are durable and their parts are not fragile. Where as Beyblades must be launched in a stadium because otherwise, the tips will be damaged.

I can see how sorry hasbro is...nice "apology". It really isnt their fault though. Thats a good way of putting it insomniac (the whole floor hockey thing).

One reason to choose Takara Tomy over Hasbro. They don't blame kids for using their products and calling the people that buy their products, "Stupid Kids".

RE: Beywheelz [TOYS - NOT ANIME] - UGottaCetus - Sep. 01, 2012

Ehh, I use them in my house... one time I ripped one towards my bro on the computer and it hit him in the chin and hurt him... not much else really happened that caused any damage. On another note, I don't even think you need that ramp to do stunts, mine have gone up a porch chair, some black flat thing, and even rode up a hammer that was leaning on a stand diagonally with the handle up.... So yeah.

Why the hell would you do that? Why would you blame Hasbro for your own actions?

RE: Beywheelz [TOYS - NOT ANIME] - UGottaCetus - Sep. 01, 2012

@Insomniac: I don't blame Hasbro at all, I was saying that I don't think they're that dangerous. And it didn't hurt him that much.

No, thats not the point XD

>people launch tires at people and things willingly
>>dammit Hasbro, y u make un-safe stuff?

See? There is a difference between common sense and spoon-feeding.

RE: Beywheelz [TOYS - NOT ANIME] - UGottaCetus - Sep. 01, 2012

Yea I know, it was in fact my fault, not Hasbro's. If you ask me, Beywheelz is no more dangerous than Beyblade, as long as you use them safely. Just like earlier today, I was playing with a Transformer and I dropped it and it hit my brother. That's totally my fault. Not Hasbro's. If you're talking about in general, then yea, I agree.

RE: Beywheelz [TOYS - NOT ANIME] - sarabscientist - Sep. 01, 2012

Lets put it in context of floor hockey again. You buy your kids a set and they play in the living room. The ball smashes the TV. You complain to company who made the set? No. Its your fault. Go have some common sense and play outside. Same thing with wheelz, don't launch them at people or randomly indoors.

RE: Beywheelz [TOYS - NOT ANIME] - UGottaCetus - Sep. 01, 2012

Yea you're right. They are better outside anyway for me because there's more space out there. SOOOOO... Dagger Spine Lacerta or Venom Bite Serpent? Spine would be cool because I have Bone(Bone Spine Herculeo comin up!) and Bite looks really awesome. Both are green. Both are lizards and both look really nice.
