RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - .:J:. - Nov. 09, 2010

i'm definitely getting that bey!

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - 桃太郎 - Nov. 09, 2010

At first I thought those stickers were PhotoShop'd, but they're not. Oh my, it seems more like a novelty rather than something that has competitive value, hah.

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Picses0222 - Nov. 10, 2010

At first, it seems ridiculous. But you have to admit, it would be fun to be Beyblading with a friend, you use Flame Pyxis, and they're like "OMG WTF is that?!?!?" And they use their best attack type, and Pyxis wins. Grin

And I think I found a pro about the 230 track. If it's that big, it's heavier than most normal tracks. As a result, it increases the defensive capabilities. But the height is a concern... Tongue_out

Since there is no gimmick, it would probably not weight that much more. At most 4 grams, but I expect less.

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Picses0222 - Nov. 10, 2010

Well, 4 grams is 4 grams. If your opponent uses a 90 track, there's obviously less weight in it.

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Kai-V - Nov. 10, 2010

It seems I wrote "4" but I really meant two grams, no more ... Four grams is definitely too much for a regular Track, even at 230. Also, there are much better options for Defense Tracks than a 'nude' 230 Track.

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Night - Nov. 10, 2010

I think this will be the only 230 track made. Although I did have some stupid ideas for gimmicks, I doubt that Takara will make a 230 with a gimmick- or, even another 230 track altogether.

This track is bad for attack bottoms. Heh. Just imagine this with RF...!

They could try to put two ED on this, hah. Or two WA, etc.

Perhaps a hedgehog of Claws like C145 ...

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Headenbr3 - Nov. 10, 2010

The first thingI wondered about when I saw the face was the meaning to the symbols... Are they supposed to be NEWS to fit the compass theme?

It would be wierd if they made a 230 with a small metal wheel on it (so low attackers can't topple it over), but I'm not sure if it could hold the weight.

Gasp i didn't expect this sort of comment from the Kai-v.

meh since its already been said; i was thinking the same thing from the start, hopefully one day TT'll create something like that but making it endurable against metal wheels. Andrew

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - J' - Nov. 10, 2010

Heheh, I love the colors, but I doubt the track's usefulness.
Then again, I wouldn't mind seeing more 'gimmick' blades just for the heck of it Smile

I think the height itself is a gimmick, to be honest.

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Kai-V - Nov. 10, 2010

A gimmick in Metal Fight Beyblade is always indicated with letters. 230 has no gimmick, just like 145 does not have any. You could personally believe that it is a 'gimmick', but you cannot officially say it is one.

Well, you're right about that. Wonder what will come of this bey when it's launched tilted forward...

EDIT: Well Kai-V is also right.

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Deadpool - Nov. 10, 2010

How is the clear wheel pink ? I used a Negative function on my phone camera and then I see a pink clear wheel. More to purple to be exact.

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Kai-V - Nov. 12, 2010

Zeo Abyss is actually the one who will use Flame Pyxis ...

What a huge disappointment in the anime and manga ...

Ahah, at least it looks 'full'. It might weigh more than I expected.

Also, they keep calling it "Byxis" for some reason.

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Stigma - Nov. 12, 2010

Thanks for the update Kai-v. That track looks a lot bigger than I expected o.o

Edit: Width wise I mean.

The Capsule around it seems to be a gimmick

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Kai-V - Nov. 12, 2010

There is no 'capsule' around it, that is just what 230 is ... It is not as if it could be removed or something ... They probably did this because otherwise it would not have been reinforced enough. So they know that the Track will keep getting hit ...

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Akel - Nov. 12, 2010

Oh my Chocked_2....Thats more smaller than I thought.

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - OkiBlaze - Nov. 12, 2010

Not what I expected at all...

But 230 looks ridiculous with Flame.

EDIT: Why is Pyxis blue on the render, but green on the official picture?

Oh wow I was so excited seeing 230 I didn't even think about the color. It's far better than what it was. =D

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - Kai-V - Nov. 12, 2010

The official images are sometimes more saturated than what the real colours are, but I did not expect it to be that saturated compared to reality ...

RE: BB-95 Flame Pyxis 230WD - boyet - Nov. 12, 2010

thats a real tall beyblade.
