RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - Kai-V - Jul. 10, 2013 So what is the difference between a Hasbro Zeus and a Takara one ? It seems like we do not even have a draft in the Beywiki Project forum for it ... RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - Kai Hiwatari - Jul. 10, 2013 The only difference was the major difference of Engine Gears. TT Zeus had the Right Customize Gear(Free Shaft Version), that was free spinning and had the CEW Light Sharp. Unfortunately, Hasbro disregarded this feature and instead, included Right Engine Gear(Metal Ball). I purchased a Hasbro Zeus and was very disappointed that they had swapped the Engine Gears. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - th!nk - Jul. 11, 2013 [quote='Kai Hiwatari' pid='1133639' dateline='1373387464'] Smash Attack: AR: Double Attacker WD: 10 Wide SG: Neo Core Right SG BB: Metal Flat Base Quote:Just one thing: I'd change that AR to Triple Tiger. Double Attacker has too much recoil for pretty much anything bar Uriel 2's tip. I must remember to try this out some time, I've never had much luck with anything using SG BV2 other than defensive zombies and the odd fixed-shaft attacker. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! As I remember, it performed well for me, however, do take into consideration that I only had access to Hasbro Stadiums. So for me, the performance is unknown in TT Stadiums. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - MrMisfit - Jul. 13, 2013 Follow up to my previous enquiry about SonoKong blades, I've seen a Metal Driger on eBay and I'm told the HM core is really good from it, is Metal Driger from the later blades that are compatible with Takara/ Hasbro blades in terms of size? RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - th!nk - Jul. 13, 2013 Yes, Metal Driger is a G-series beyblade and thus fully compatible with Takara/Hasbro parts. Heck, some of them are straight up repackaged takara ones. For metal driger, hasbro's one is the one you want to avoid (engine gear instead of an HMC, gah). RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - MrMisfit - Jul. 13, 2013 Great, thanks for your help! Really? Hasbro sure seem to flake out on providing good blades aha RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - Fonypan - Jul. 14, 2013 Does anyone here think that it would be possible to get the original plastic generation molds and have something like 'official reproduction' parts? RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - LMAO - Jul. 14, 2013 I'm a fool when it comes to plastics, so I need help here. Is this the Seaborg which the base has been legalized, and is allowed for official play? Thanks! http://dimsum2u.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=191 RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - Dual - Jul. 14, 2013 No, thats Seaborg 2. I have the first one for sale if interested though. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - Cannon - Jul. 14, 2013 Yes, correct. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - syaoranli2 - Jul. 14, 2013 Hey, I know dragoon GT is really rare and costs quite a lot of money. I've been wondering how much it is worth by now. I saw an auction on ebay where they bid over $400. Is there any other way to get a dragoon gt in mint condition any cheaper? I am also looking for a Dragoon MSUV, how much would a new one or one in mint condition cost? RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! The Power Rangers/Super Sentai fandom uses several ways to create repro parts, for most things people just use resin casts to keep costs low and to make it easier. Thing is, it's not the same material as the plastic used in plastics, it's resin. I'd give it a shot if I had any plastics left, but sadly I do not so it would be a waste for me to go out and buy molding equipment, haha. EDIT: For example, one of our members recently repro'd a couple of often-missing parts from one of the more popular mecha, the DragonZord from 1993/Dragon Caesar from 1992. http://www.rangerboard.com/showthread.php?t=162608 RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - Dual - Jul. 15, 2013 Driger V2 would be best, its a great all around bey. Look around beywiki, as well as ebay and other places to check prices. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! (No HMS). - ShinobuXD - Jul. 15, 2013 Well a fair bit of Beywiki is incorrect about plastics, it's still a decent resource I guess but some of the many incorrect things are- Hasbro Twin Horn isn't good 10B Bistool is good Mold 2 Wing Cross is better than Mold 1 Roller Defense Ring is bad Turtle Survivor is good for zombies Upper Attack works well Etc, etc. Anyways, great places to find info are- Plastic Parts Discussion Plastics General Discussion This thread Plastics CC list Th!nk's blog Beywiki to an extent Price Reference List RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here! One thing that jumped out at me in that lot in particular is the Gryfollyon looks to be TT. As for the second, I do not believe it is worth it either, as there are not that many useful Plastic parts with it, and about 15 of the Beyblades that are included are MFB. I'm working on it, though. RE: Plastics Q&A Thread - ALL Plastics Questions Go Here!
