No APUSH is definitely easy. I took the course last year, and the AP exam was a cinch too.

Ok so today I had to get up at 5 A.M and be at be at school by 6:30 for cross country practice!Unhappy and oh my gosh! We ran 2 1/2 miles timed... I sucked! My time was 18:46!Unhappy
For some weird reason I was soo tired in my 3rd (art) and 5th (spanish) period classes, I started falling asleep!-.-
LOL

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Dual - Sep. 05, 2013

I had my first Cross Country meet today.
I didn't get last! I actually got like 10th to last, but for someone as bad as me, that's pretty good.

I always break down in Chemistry. I have this position against the wall, where I can lean and be comfortable, but not look totally dead.

what did you eat in the morning, I reccomened eating plenty of carbs in the morning and a decent amount of protein, especially if you are going to be engaging in such rigorous activity. I.E oatmeal and 2 eggs (optionally add a piece of toast) or even a protein shake. If that doesn't fill you up, eat a banana or some sort of fruit Smile Trust me, my trainer is a nutritionist.

What you put in your body in the morning is fuel for your day. Make sure to eat a balanced breakfast before physical activity. I know sometimes in the morning you may not feel like eating, but it is important for your health to get in all the macronutrients needed for a healthy body. You can make sure you get most of these nutrients by supplementing with micronutrients (take a multi-vitamin) GOOD carbs are important to maintain energy during the day (slow digesting carbs are good) So- brown rice, oatmeal, whole wheat bread, granola, grains, etc. Protein is important as well, (I recommend lean protein)

Toast has enriching value since it does contain carbs and honey is good, since sugars are important for your diet as well. I usually eat spinach takiyaki, 1/2 bowl oatmeal and a protein shake (24G hydrolyzed whey protein isolate) and a couple strawberries. It sounds like a lot lol but the portions are small and the variety large. I also make sure to eat at most 45-60 minutes before training (you don't want to eat a minute before hard physical exertion). After training (some) sugar and protein is good (60G AMP GNC protein shake) and eat some meat and greens Smile

Will eating all of this help me in a race?

lol just eat enough to wear your stomach feels satisfied, don't eat so much that you are necessarily full. If you eat the proper amount, then you should feel better. Also, a good nights rest goes a long way. (stretch appropriately). You should get a balanced amount of sleep, not too much though because you will feel lazy. (flexibility is very important in MMA) I am not sure about track (I imagine it is the same) but this should make you feel healthier and aware in the morning. (caffine is a good thing as well, but I don't drink coffee so I take a pre-workout supplement- capsi ULTRA thermo and a dose of L-carnatine)
But if you don't have access to this than 1/4 a cup of iced coffee should work. (I say iced because hot coffee doesn't sit well in my stomach)

So apparently, my heart rate dropping to 45 and stuff (along with my recent symptom of extreme thirst) is a sign of Type 1 Diabetes, so apparently they want me to test myself and if it keeps spiking or plummeting, they want to take blood tests to see if I actually do have it.

...

Welp, that sucks...

Hope you are ok DefStamina88. I have a higher blood pressure than I should (prehypertension) and I have been eating a healthy diet ever since I started MMA (12) and still I have prehypertension... It runs in my family and sometimes you can't really do anything about it. I believe I am not diabetic because of my diet and exercise, but maybe I'm just lucky. Hang in their friend.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - OwnageDerp - Sep. 05, 2013

I hope you get over the diabetic hump, DefStamina88.
Back to random thoughts, this week has been jumbled.
Monday, no school. Tuesday and Wednesday, school. Thursday, no school. Friday, school and regular weekend and school week ahead of me.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Tri - Sep. 05, 2013

Do some of you guys remember my Bad Luck Tri thing? Well I have three things to add to that ...

Okay so my moms boyfriend bought a trailer thy we are gonna temporarily live in while we build a nice house. We were burning trash that was left by the previous owner. Stupidly, I was looking at my phone while I had trash in my hand heading to the fire. I tossed the trash in the fire ... Can you guess what went with it? My phone! I immediately grabbed the phone out of the fire. And for number two of bad luck Tri, I burnt my finger in the process. At least my phone was in working condition. The case was ruined though.

For number three, its not as extreme, but a mud dauber, which is a weird looking wasp got in my shoe and it stung my foot a couple times.

Don't worry guys, I'm still alive lol.

Not sue why we would debate this but it IS random thoughts so..
The slightest bit of internet research would reveal that the Mud Dauber does indeed sting

Mud daubers (Sphecidae) and potter or mason wasps (Eumeninae) are solitary wasp species; although capable of stinging, they are rarely aggressive. Mud dauber nests can be a nuisance in garages, under eaves and in other buildings.

Ingulit: To be honest i have never even heard of a Mud dauber, interested me. Hence my quick googleing.

I had a scorpion for a pet when I was 13, my brother told me it couldn't sting (something about his tail being clipped or something) It never stung me once and I would always take him out and hold him and stuff. I didn't know he could sting till after he died. It was an emporer scorpion, they are very laid back and don't usually resort to stinging.
