You have to upload the image from your computer to a hosting site such as photobucket.com or tinypic.com, etc.
Then place the code into the tags like you have there. Right now you're linking to an image on your desktop and obviously we can't all access your desktop.

and this second pic wasnt taken on purpose... i was just kinda sitting there and yea i had the app open... but i didnt mean to take it XD (also... this is much more recent... like less than a month ago... also i dont take pictures of myself often... sooooo i have limited to work with...)

I dunno.....I think straightening hair can be kinda relaxing, provided you're not in a massive rush (which I normally am). So are you gonna go for a length somwhere in between the two? You look all prim and proper at the moment.
