Arcanite Magician becomes so much more potent with Breaker at three. Once the new list is official, I'm going to try revamping what's left of Cat and Monk, and turn it into an Arcanite control deck.
It would be hard with 1 cat and 1 monk. Ive played around with mysterious guard and rose warrior of revenge into arcanite and its quite funny. if you play them right you can clear a field of 4 cards without realy loosing any advantage.
example
i was against gb and the guy has stardust out and 2 glads he summons bestari and contacts for gyzaruskilling my facedown mystic tomato and my threatning roar (chained ofc) leaving me with 1 face down mysterious guard. he ends and has stardust gyzarus laquari on 2100 and 2 face down s/ts
my turn i play cold wave i summon rose warrior and flip mysterious guard. i send both gysarus and stardust back to the extra deck. i syncroed for acranite. ran over his laquari and then removed both counters to destroy his BTH and GB charriot xD

i have this new card called elemetal recharge i get 1000 LP for each face up elemetal hero on my side of the field

That's great, but you need to focus on quick summoning and maintaining Elemental Heros on the field (though I don't think that will be too hard with a well-made E-hero deck anyways). Though, it may be banned or limited so you should check the list.

The goal of the game isn't to raise your Life Points. You're trying to lower your opponent's Life Points. If you plan on using that card in a deck, your opponent will win before you even get a chance to play that card. Also, if you're in that bad of a situation that you need extra Life Points to stay in the game, your deck isn't that great.

im pretty much using the rise of the dragon lords structure deck its actully pretty decenti have added a few other cards into it tho like Lord of D and a few extra traps ill post up later
ive beaten my freinds exodia deck with it so i think its pretty decent

the new ban list is konamis way ok saying u need skill rather than money 2 win as banlist saw unknowns win the most resent championships through skill and the big money decks didnt even make top 8 lightsworns r easy 2 beat now even with the new ban list anti meta glads r the 1s 2 wtch 4

Lightsworn went untouched and is the fastest deck of the format. They'll most likely win more consistently than any of new decks we'll see, so I doubt Konami was trying to send us a message about money vs. skill, especially considering how they severely nerfed Blackwings and Gladiator Beasts, which both were low cost Tier 1 alternatives to Lightsworn.
Gladiator Beasts lost x2 Solemn Judgments and Blackwings lost x2 Solemn Judgments and x2 Gales, while Lightsworn will just be swapping Monster Reborn for Call of the Haunted.
Dark Striker Fighter was really enough to deal with Blackwings, taking away two Gales was the nail in the coffin. Lightsworn were already able to outspeed them with the two Gales.
I'm sure we'll see Chaos variants topping some major events with a few people trying to Salvage G-Beasts and B-Wings, but Lightsworn will most likely be the dominant of the Tier 1 decks.

Even with the new banlist and the nerfing of Blackwings, they're still my favorite deck to play with.
Dark Strike Fighter being banned now was probably enough to deal with BW, as Syn already said, and I agree that Gale really didn't need to go limited. That sort of cripples the BW's but there are ways around it to get the same Gale back in your hand/to your field repeatedly such as Dark Eruption, BW - Blizzard the Far North, Against the Wind, etc. so it's not all THAT bad.

baring in mind yes gale is at 1 but the new ap booster increases the range of bw with the bw graveyard tuner as well as some lightsworn smiting cards and considering wat cards can replace the limited 1s and banned 1s theres plenty of choice my bw work just as good if not better with some of the new cards

Despite Lightsworn's speed, it's a volatile deck. Depending on what gets trashed in the graveyard, and the defenses of your opponent, the deck's milling may work against you. I don't think you see Lightsworn consistently winning first place in tournaments (despite being top tier). To me, this is why it didn't seem to be affected at all with this format.
I've seen some pretty dirty things done with Card of Safe Return (Ryan can attest to this with Pat's Plant deck). I've even experimented with it in mine. I can see why they'd ban it given the enormous advantage you can gain.

Both GS's have been really good. I almost always seem to get at least one during the first or second turn, so it's quite beneficial.

Depends on how many cards you're running in your deck. I'd max on Blizzard and maybe throw in a Vayu before running Mistral.
Mistral would have been a god send for Blackwings had Crush not been banned.
