I wish I live there because of the tournaments you have...

All the tournaments here organized by the TT are carp. Nearly everyone uses worn down sharp tips and it's not illegal.

Fixed

But seriously guys, this thread is or discussing WBO HK Tournaments and is not a chat thread. This thread might eventually get locked if off-topic chat continues.

What?
TT haven't banned the use of worn down tips (so it's not illegal (if you still don't understand, it's legal))
Makes the tourny broken. People are sanding down their MS for uber staminaness

We're having a conversation about the crappy tournies. Isn't that on topic?
If it has to be WBO tourny discussion then fine.
We have no freaking place to host it. If we did it in a park, we might get sued for非法集會
OMG CHINESE FAIL
非法集會

Ah, I understand what you mean now.

There is actually a room that I can pre-book in the clubhouse of the apartment I live in (located at Tseung Kwan O). It has carpet floors and the size of the room is pretty good too. But of course, I won't book that room unless 8 people are willing to come for a tournament.

RE: [Hong Kong, Asia] Hong Kong Bladers (Discussion for tournaments) - Jerf - Jun. 17, 2010

I'm willing to come if I've got time

That's great. I might be able to host it in the holidays (July), but that's only when at least eight people are willing to come. Wink

I never said you were in Japan that time. Wouldn't they have come to the whole of ASIA at that time and not just Japan?

Sonokong releases MFB products about a month or two later than Japan, Sonokong is from Korea and Korea is a part of Asia.
So no, the whole of Asia do not get Beyblades at the same time.

Also, this is the list of all Asian countries and territories. You will notice that Asia does contain quite a large variety of races/people.

Exchange your beypoints to beyblade prizes !!! Get limited edition beyblades items.
While the stock last, on first-come-first-serve basis.

Good luck to all !!!

You can actually exchange points for stuff here in Hong Kong now? Where? Chocked

there will not be more than 50 people right?

LOL, clarkero.
And no, I doubt that there will be more than 15 people (if a HK WBO tournament is hosted), haha.

Especially if you're talking about competitive players and with legal beys...

RE: [Hong Kong, Asia] Hong Kong Bladers (Discussion for tournaments) - Jerf - Jun. 19, 2010

People have to stop using L-Drago (and Lightning) on right launchers and the others on left.
And to stop sanding their bottoms.
And get better stadiums. The ones on Tai Yuen Street that let you play are carp, from the plastic gen, and have a billion dents in them. I refuse to play in them.
I actually saw a MFB Balance type stadium there too but no one was using it ._. They were all crowded around the crappy stadium.
I'm pretty surprised TT hasn't banned any of the above things minus the stadium -.-

I am quite sure they have actually. You are talking about Japan's TAKARA-TOMY ?

Jerf was probably talking about Hong Kong's TakaraTomy.

They really have different rules ? That is odd.

I suppose they have the same rules but the kids who play just don't give a carp about it.

RE: [Hong Kong, Asia] Hong Kong Bladers (Discussion for tournaments) - Jerf - Jun. 20, 2010

And that the staff don't give a carp about it either.

RE: [Hong Kong, Asia] Hong Kong Bladers (Discussion for tournaments) - Sakota - Jun. 20, 2010

Indeed. Speaking of which, I encountered a kid who was using a L-Spin Beylauncher on an unmodified Earth Aquila, claiming that it does better with left spin.

...
