Thanks a lot Kai-V! Smile

RE: BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS - Ultra - Mar. 15, 2010

I think it looks quite cool and can't wait to get it. I'm also glad that Takara are releasing other colours of light launcher.

CS :

Its description does not mention metal at all.

RE: BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS - フェルグラント - Mar. 15, 2010

So it's comfirmed as plastic and rubber?

RE: BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS - Kai-V - Mar. 15, 2010

Rubber for sure, and no metal, so the center must be plastic. Obviously they will not put emphasis on the tip being made of plastic, which is why it is not very clear, however there is no metal.

If they did advertise the plastic:
'All new CS bottom with the Rubber from RF covering the plastic tip from S, It's Kwel! Buy it!'

hmm... I'm bad at advertising ...:\

EDIT: Spelling error

RE: BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS - theflightyellz - Mar. 15, 2010

Agitated that they didn't show it in detail in the Colosseum video, really can't understand why they'd have it as one of the two featured beys, and then pull out Rock Leone =_=?

RE: BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS - Toonpenguin - Mar. 15, 2010

based on the bey collseum video it appears to act more of a defense type then attack but maybe thats just me XD

That's because it's spinning on the sharp tip, instead of the rubber section.
Had it been launched with sliding shot, you'd think otherwise.

ahh ok, well then this bottom might be a amazing defense and attack bottom 2 for the price of one XD

RE: BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS - Ashari - Mar. 16, 2010

wow that doesn't look sharp

RE: BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS - SilverWind - Mar. 16, 2010

It kind of looks like a FS covered in rubber not S but that's just me.

RE: BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS - theflightyellz - Mar. 16, 2010

The shape of the tip should be nigh on identical to metal change cores, and should perform in a very similar way.
The only real difference should be a shift in the direction of it having better attack, and less stamina.
My main concern is the wheel choice for this one at the moment, since we have very little in the way of upper wheels, and no wheels that I can think of that are suitable for compact combos.
I'm thinking MFVirgoGB145CS, but even then I can't see it doing particularly well due to Virgos high recoil, and 145 is probably a little high for my liking.
Quetz 90CS might also be a pretty decent option for taking out combinations such as Earth Virgo DF145SD/WD, and since it will be considerably easier to use than RF for the vast majority of people it should increase the number of attack combos that people are using at tournaments.
Although this isn't exactly what we were hoping for, I think it should still be a fairly game changing part, and will open up alternate styles of play for more timid members.

RE: BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS - LLawliet435 - Mar. 18, 2010

this kinda reminds me of master draciel.

RE: BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS - Giga - Mar. 18, 2010

Virgo, recoil? What?

Maybe Galaxy or the original Pegasis 85CS?

RE: BB-71 Ray Unicorno D125CS - theflightyellz - Mar. 18, 2010

Probably Galaxy more so than Pegasis..
Genuinely can't even think of a half decent use for the original Pegasis wheel.

Some Japanese get the new products a few days before their actual release date, so you might.

Ozzy had also replied saying that he still believed it was metal.
I think it is more visible here that it is only plastic :
