Because your supposed to use the image code and put [img][/img] around it.

What exactly are you doing though. Because all you should have to do is click the "Change Signature" button, and in the text box, type this in: [Image: n3tbuv.jpg] and click update signature and it should be there.

It would be better if you didn't use Paint, aspecially if you intend to resize it. However if you think Paint will serve your needs then try this:
