RE: Plastics General Discussion - Ultra - Apr. 17, 2012 We do have a random booster content list for this but it doesn't list any of the colours for RB1 and is very limited on what's in RB2 as well as not listing any colours. RE: Plastics General Discussion - Janstarblast - Apr. 17, 2012 Ooh, I see... Still, the pictures might help a bit, to add more detail to the article? As it is, most of the Random Booster Articles we have, have always required a nice picture (like the one you found) for the articles! The quality may not be up to BeyWiki standards though, but that is all we have (thanks to you...). Sooo... RE: Plastics General Discussion - Ultra - Apr. 17, 2012 Well I tried that already but we can't use a pic in an article without their permission due to copyright law. Anyway we don't have any articles on the plastic random boosters. Also found a sonkong clear Dragoon V: http://www.c-player.com/ac43609/message/200802 RE: Plastics General Discussion - Kai-V - Apr. 17, 2012 http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Japanese-Hobby-Sites RE: Plastics General Discussion - Ultra - Apr. 17, 2012 I know that's where I got the links from. RE: Plastics General Discussion - th!nk - Apr. 18, 2012 Nonetheless, it was something I was certainly not aware of, and I'm going to assume that means plenty of people weren't aware of. Thanks very much for bringing it to my attention ultra, I didn't know about the first fukobako, and the random booster 1 list should come in handy. RE: Plastics General Discussion - Ultra - Apr. 18, 2012 I'm gonna put it bluntly. I'm like one of the most knowledgable collectors here on releases and i'd never seen them(the pictures of RB1 2 and 3. I didn't know about the fukobako at all) so I very much doubt anyone else knew about them who wasn't around in the old days. RE: Plastics General Discussion - Kai-V - Apr. 18, 2012 Someone should have told me to look for "fukubako", I would have gone there automatically, hah. I had no idea that such a thing was unknown until now. RE: Plastics General Discussion - Ultra - Apr. 18, 2012 I honestly didn't know that existed till I looked there so I wouldn't have thought to ask. RE: Plastics General Discussion - th!nk - Apr. 18, 2012 Yeah, same here. I've never even seen the beys or weight disks from it, absolutely no clue! Are there any other directories/resources around that we might not know to check, that you know of? RE: Plastics General Discussion - Kai-V - Apr. 18, 2012 They are mostly in the thread I posted. I think hind's site is there too. RE: Plastics General Discussion - Ultra - Apr. 18, 2012 Just found this video by our own Keyblader which has the tower stadium in it(yet another amazingly rare impossible to find thing. Didn't even know what it looked like till now): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GL8ZObeugs0&feature=watch_response_rev RE: Plastics General Discussion - th!nk - Apr. 18, 2012 Oh man, I want one of those so bad... Like, seriously. Guess I could try to knock up something similar myself, but it'd never be the same. Also, Trypio would not fit through that gap. So awesome, so want. RE: Plastics General Discussion - Ultra - Apr. 18, 2012 It's amusing to imagine the sharp base going through and the bey just hanging there cause of the AR. I wish that wasn't impossible to find. That is the only stadium gimmick I actually approve of. RE: Plastics General Discussion - Janstarblast - Apr. 18, 2012 Wow, we actually had such awesome gimmick-y stadiums in Plastics?! Unbelievable! It actually would be so much fun to battle in that two-tier stadium, haha! Not to mention that the Tornado Ridge on the top seems to be solid! RE: Plastics General Discussion - th!nk - Apr. 18, 2012 Hah, you're no fun, I LOVE gimmick stadiums. I honestly wish I had the handiwork skills to make them myself (as well as the ability to buy decent stadiums cheaply for modification). We should totally have another stadium design competition, haha, I have loads of ideas, I might even be able to motivate myself to draw one and enter it! Something with mid-air collisions and other crazy air-based stuff. And yeah, you saw what happened to Driger V2, trypio sitting there like a plug, especially a hasbro one. 'sup trypio? nuthin, jus' hangin' jan: You'd never be able to use the tornado ridge up top that well anyway, other than for tornado stalling or whatever. The tower stadium was probably the most original one I know of (i.e. it wasn't just "SPINNING CENTRE GO SHOOOOOT!!!!"). Pretty sure people in Takara countries throw things like that together for laughs, given good stadiums are like 20 bux there. I can't remember who I was talking to about it though... RE: Plastics General Discussion - Janstarblast - Apr. 18, 2012 Seriously, that stadium screams of mid-air collisions, and powerful attacks from above! I wonder how would a Hopper Attacker perform in this. It would spin around, fall into the stadium below, and BOING! That'd look SO SWEET! I wouldn't be surprised if it actually hops and gets back to the top! Or, it might hop at an angle and knock the whole top stadium off balance? Yes, one can very well allege me for my fantastical thoughts, but well- I really want to see that now! RE: Plastics General Discussion - th!nk - Apr. 18, 2012 oh man jumping base would be off the chain in this thing, hot dayum. I wonder if it could bounce high enough. I doubt it, but I wanna try it too now. Man I swear someone should get me one of these for my birthday and I will campaign to make it tournament legal lol RE: Plastics General Discussion - Arborlite - Apr. 18, 2012 I don't think that would be physically possible to have a Grass Hopper-like Beyblade that is able to bounce and spin, or at least it wouldn't work too well because of the landing. The impact would be too great and it completely stop the beyblade from spinning. Nonetheless, it would be damn cool! RE: Plastics General Discussion - th!nk - Apr. 18, 2012 There are a lot of beys that jump around fairly effectively. Whilst the spring-less M145 is by far the most effective iteration of the jumping gimmick (because they realised "wait springs are dumb with spinning top limitations let's use something different"), Jumping Base still has a fair bit of bounce to it. It's actually a really cool little part. Not top tier but it can pull off surprising wins sometimes. "The little green base that sometimes could". By the way, Arborlite, it's really nice to see people like you taking up plastics or re-taking them up. Makes me smile, I tells ya. :3 RE: Plastics General Discussion - Janstarblast - Apr. 19, 2012 Moreover, springs were dumb because they would bounce only at the start of the battle, when they were launched from a height. But here.... It can jump upon falling! XD @th!nk- No, you mustn't make that tourney legal please! That stadium is of course a tough thing to get, and if it becomes tourney legal, we will be envious of whoever owns (and plays in) it. And of course, you'd be one of them. RE: Plastics General Discussion - Benjohadi - Apr. 19, 2012 talking about jumping gimmick..i have a very hard time to make my Cyber Dragoon and Trygle to jump..for real..at times..i had to use finder to touch the thing to activate the jumping..hahah.. and the jumping act had never look pretty.. =.=" especially Trygle..it seems to fly due to explosion instead of jump.. RE: Plastics General Discussion - Janstarblast - Apr. 19, 2012 I never actually thought that Cyber Dragoon and Trygle could "jump", haha! They simply seemed to lose balance, and "stumble". Similar to a BD145 scraping... We all know how it tends to "jump" slightly upon scraping, haha! RE: Plastics General Discussion - th!nk - Apr. 19, 2012 They bounce up a little but the most noticeable effect is that they go wildly off balance. Yes, that is just why I thought they couldn't bounce... The moment mine used to bounce, it went off balance... It actually looked like it was scraping... :\ |
