Fair enough but I still don't unstand what is so great about it, then again it would be like that with Beyblade if I had never tried it before so I don't know, maybe it is good to play.

Edit: It is still a bit more popular than MFB at the moment but that is only because MFB is not out everywhere in the world yet. As soon as it does come out kids will be saying that Bakugan sucked.
FWIW Bakugan was dead on arrival in Japan.

The Bakugan toys break too easily though I bought it once to try it out it was

2: broke a week later

I finally caved in and bought a starter pack of these things. The rule book is practically incomprehensible, but the marbles themselves are pretty neat. I got one that springs open into a bloody-freakin' turret.

It's like this every week in Canada. Toysrus is going batshit insane this week trying to hype the launch of the Bakugan video game. It'd be cool if Metal Fusion got that kind of reception, but considering how Transformers doesn't even get that, I'm not gonna hold me breath.

I'm still waiting for these things to come down to $1 CDN each, so I can buy a few as decorations. I really don't understand why kids are so hyped about Bakugan. Good advertising, maybe? The game is so boring... The gimmick doesn't even work...

marketing and it launched at a time where there was a serious dearth of battling toys
