RE: Haruhism - Nano - Apr. 30, 2011 Speaking of Crispin Freeman, he tweeted some info the other day... He said he can't wait to see the end product of the movie dubbing. I CAN'T WAIT!!! RE: Haruhism - Dude - Apr. 30, 2011 Ah, so they are dubbing that? Good to know. I read the plot of the movie online and it seemed pretty eventful (And that's a good thing) RE: Haruhism - Sparta - Apr. 30, 2011 (Apr. 30, 2011 12:43 PM)Dude Wrote: Ah, so they are dubbing that? Good to know. THEY'RE DUBBING THE DISAPPEARANCE OF HARUHI SUZUMIYA?! Great! I've seen the movie subbed, so it will be interesting to see how it plays out. RE: Haruhism - Dude - Apr. 30, 2011 Yeah, Crispin Freeman said on his Twitter that he's done with the dubbing for the movie. Now, maybe they just recorded all of his lines and still have a lot of dubbing to do, I wouldn't know. RE: Haruhism - Nano - Apr. 30, 2011 Dude, sense when are you a Haruhi fan? I'm proud! Try getting your sister to watch it (then again, you have no control over that mindless bohemith) Crispin Freeman doesn't just read the lines and speak, he makes new lines. At first, "SUPER SIZE ME!" was "There huge." He thought they could do better, so he looked at the lip flap and came up with "Super Size Me." RE: Haruhism - Dude - Apr. 30, 2011 How could I resist watching Haruhi with this super cast? I mean, Crispin Freeman as a bored and sarcastic dude, Wendee Lee as a hyperactive god, Stephanie Sheh as a cute, timid chick, Michelle freakin' Ruff doing her emotionless voice and Johnny Yong Bosch doing a calm, composed voice. This is like the best casting ever XD EDIT: As for Kai-V, I tell her about the show every once in a while (Especially the Endless 8) and she seems kinda intrigued, but it doesn't go much further than that. She's not really into anime that much, just Beyblade XD RE: Haruhism - Nano - Apr. 30, 2011 This is one the best dubs ever. A lot of people that don't like dubs, like this one. Can't go wrong with Crispin Freeman and Wendee Lee. They are the best dubbers ever. Crispin Freeman Wrote:That's all folks! I'm officially wrapped on the Haruhi movie. Can't wait to see how it all sounds once it's mixed! RE: Haruhism - Dude - Apr. 30, 2011 Well, I find Wendee Lee a little over-used, but she's good, so it's appropriate XD And Crispin Freeman is totally under-used! XD I have to actually dig out stuff he's in! (Except for the obvious ones, like Itachi, Alucard and so on) RE: Haruhism - Nano - Apr. 30, 2011 Crispin Freeman was in .HACK and Howls Moving Castle. Along with some extra work in Lucky Star. But I agree, he needs some new roles. Maybe we should make a Crispin Freeman thread. He deserves it. RE: Haruhism - Dude - Apr. 30, 2011 Actually, is there a simple "Voice Actor" thread? I've seen one for actors, but it's not exactly the same XD (And I know about those two roles you mentionned, in which he was also good XD) Anyway, I'm guessing we might get that Haruhi movie in Winter, or something. Earlier would be nice, but I kinda doubt it XD RE: Haruhism - Nano - Apr. 30, 2011 A VA thread would be nice. They're a lot different from from regular actors. Hey Dude, what's your favorite line from this series? I'm curious to know. RE: Haruhism - Sparta - Apr. 30, 2011 Sorry, I'm not dude but I really want to answer! I like when Kyon says "Haruhi is haruhi, nothing but haruhi. Great, using dodology to avoid the question.' I used that in school sometimes Oh and btw, I'm a huge supporter of Kyogato (Kyon and Nagato). That would be an awesome couple! Then again, Kyons fate in reality is sealed; no matter what in the end it has to be Karuhi, otherwise our world would end... RE: Haruhism - Nano - Apr. 30, 2011 We all know everybody loves Kyon. Mikuru, Nagato, Haruhi even Koizumi! Have you seen the look in his eyes??? RE: Haruhism - Sparta - Apr. 30, 2011 (Apr. 30, 2011 9:50 PM)Nano Wrote: We all know everybody loves Kyon. Mikuru, Nagato, Haruhi even Koizumi! Have you seen the look in his eyes??? Toché But think about it. If Kyon tries to marry Mikuru, a certain GOD would destry the world. If he marries nagato.. Well, thatd be a new kind of fetish. If he tries to mary Kiozumi,.. Well nvm he would't. If he marries haruhi she'll get exited and create a new world revolving around them. Remember back in season one? Well yes but not for the same reason. She made the new world because she was 'sick and tired of the boring world we [they] were kiving in!'. Yes, thats the line haruhi uses in that episode. But if your reffering to Kyon using the 'snow white' tactic, then yes, she created a world for kyon. RE: Haruhism - Nano - Apr. 30, 2011 If you think about it, why would Haruhi and Kyon be the only ones there? Once you think of it, it makes more sense what I said. RE: Haruhism - Sparta - Apr. 30, 2011 I know! Even Koizumi says it: "You honestly have no idea? You're here because Miss Suzumiya chose you. You were the one and only person from the other world who she really wanted to be with. Thought you would have realized that by now." Yes, I have subconsciously memorized lines from TMoHS because I watch on my iPod every night. But yeah, I see what you're saying. RE: Haruhism - ƛnubis - Apr. 30, 2011 Finally finished watching the endless 8. It took so long. After the first episode it got boring so I just skipped to the last one RE: Haruhism - Sparta - May. 01, 2011 (Apr. 30, 2011 11:47 PM)scipio132 Wrote: Finally finished watching the endless 8. RE: Haruhism - Dude - May. 10, 2011 So, what do you guys think of...uhh... "The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya?" I watched the first "episode" and found it...intriguing. Is it any good? But I did read the first Manga. It was hilarious. I suggest watching the regular series first, though. (Unless you already did. ) It's just one big Parody of the entire series. Watch or read it. You'll love it. XD RE: Haruhism - ƛnubis - May. 10, 2011 (May. 01, 2011 12:29 AM)Sparta Wrote:(Apr. 30, 2011 11:47 PM)scipio132 Wrote: Finally finished watching the endless 8. It took so long. There is not anything important after the first one its just the same thing over and over. RE: Haruhism - Wizard - May. 11, 2011 (May. 10, 2011 11:35 PM)scipio132 Wrote:Hmm...
