Mine was some gambling game on the original GameBoy. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me, but seeing as I only played it for about 5 minutes, I don't really count it. The first game I ever actually played to completion and was really involved in was Pokemon Red on GameBoy, which I got like two days after I played that gambling game on GameBoy because I was so amazed by it. haha

Reader Rabbit for DOS, and a handful of other DOS games I've long since forgotten the names of.
My first console was Genesis though, I'm not sure what game I played first. I remember owning several Sonic games, Jurassic Park, GreenDog, Echo, and a few awful disney games.

Errrmm...mine was some ninja game on PS1 im not sure of the name but i never got past the first level some monster kept on killing me.

I had alot of video game systems when I was younger. well they were my brothers lol but anyway I'm pretty sure the first game I ever play was either
Super Mario World (SNES)
Sonic The Hedgehog (Genesis)
Sonic The Hedgehog 2(Genesis)
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 (Genesis)
or Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's island (SNES)
but now that I think about it I'm pretty sure it was either Sonic 2 or 3 but the first game that I actually ever played to completion was Sonic 2 lol I still play it.

I'm sure it wasn't my actual first game, but the first one I clearly remember playing is Sonic 2 for Genesis. Before that I remember playing TurboGrafX 16 somewhere, and I now mysteriously have at least 20 TG16 cartridges/cards lying around somewhere haha

Somewhere between Super Mario Brothers 3 and Duck Hunt. Those were the only games we had for our NES.

I remember the first games I played were on the Commodore 64 which was a pain for loading games but I remember playing Ghostbusters on it a lot and some frog kids game. If I had to go just after that then it would be Mario Bros.
