In my dictionary, 'kaimaku' means 'opening, beginning' ... Google has both 'opening' and 'raising the curtain'.

Wouldn't "opening" and "raising the curtain" be considered the same thing?
Anyway, if it's a "Survival battle" they're probably gonna put all the bladers in the same beystadium and have them fight to the "death". In fact, didn't they do just that, in the manga?

The episode is tonight...
If it really is Tendou Yuu that we saw in that preview, I do hope they're not gonna radically change him. He was very interesting, in the manga...Of course, if it's a change for the better, that's always cool.
But it also seems that every conflict will again be solve threw beyblading, instead of actually fighting each other.

Loved that episode! I absolutely loved it! There was nothing bad about it! (In my head)
Tetsuya was there and served to more than just comic relief, he actually had some little feeling of dread going on. Ryuuga got some time at the beginning and he was awesome again and we even got to see cute little Yuu Tendou! Isn't he the cutest? He looks like a small Brooklyn!
I think it's my favorite episode yet!
