RE: Getting a lubricated launcher. - Dreamborn - Jan. 10, 2009 None taken, However why make a thread about enhancing something if it's illegal to do so? Since we're on the rules topic, does anyone know where I can find a rules/guidelines for the WBO? RE: Getting a lubricated launcher. - Anu - Jan. 10, 2009 You get the rules for WBO by going to World Battle System and clicking on Rules at the top right of the chart/list of bladers. RE: Getting a lubricated launcher. - Dreamborn - Jan. 10, 2009 (Jan. 10, 2009 2:24 PM)Anu Wrote: Well Actually WBO says for official matches it's illegal but if you and your opponent are both using this technique in an unofficial battle, it's ok. BTW you get the rules for WBO by making a blader profile and clicking on rules. Thanks for the info ![]() And yeah, anything goes for an 'unofficial' battle so long as your opponent doesnt mind, but messing with launchers is something best to be avoided, especially if you forget that you've messed with it and take it to an official match, then you're in trouble if people notice the difference. RE: Getting a lubricated launcher. - Anu - Jan. 10, 2009 Ya I tried that with a launcher but I Put a Mark on it so I know the difference. RE: Getting a lubricated launcher. - Guardian Odin - Jan. 10, 2009 Um As far as I always knew, lubricating a shooter isn't against the rules. What are you talking about? According to the rulebook, it's legal. I lubricate my shooters. RE: Getting a lubricated launcher. - Anu - Jan. 10, 2009 You serious I thought in the WBO rules It sed that anything which affects performance of launcher is illegal in an official battle. RE: Getting a lubricated launcher. - Crimson - Jan. 10, 2009 From the Beyblade Damashii archive http://web.archive.org/web/20050313141459/www.damashii.net/shooter.html Quote: +Oiling Shooter+ RE: Getting a lubricated launcher. - Anu - Jan. 10, 2009 Thx 4 the xtra info Crimson. RE: Getting a lubricated launcher. - Giga - Jan. 10, 2009 Legal Modification While almost all modifications are considered illegal, there are some modifications you may use that are considered legal. • Painting or clear-coating parts for aesthetic reasons. The coat must be light, non-textured and not affect the Beyblade's performance. • Modifying Launcher Grips or Launchers in a way that does not affect their function or performance in any way. • Many Dual Shooters have a manufacturing fault which prevents them from grasping the Bit Protector firmly. To rectify this, you are allowed to use the following modification: Unscrew the assembly on the bottom of the launcher to get the black prongs. Warm the plastic with hot water, to soften it, then it can be adjusted i.e. pinched. To make it permanent run under cold water, which will set the plastic again. • Coating the inside of a Launcher with a lubricant. • Straightening Winders.
