Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Nolongeractive - Jul. 31, 2008 Did any of you ever make your own teams and go against other in your neighborhood? Wanna talk about those old times? Oddly I used to not be the team leader in mine, but now I happen to be the best XD our current team only has my old team captain and myself but I still beat her out XD I was the so called 'Ray/Rei' of the team, and I did always use Drigers. I also have a major question...How do I tell my old team Cap that I think I should be captain now? And should I challenge her to a few battle for team Captainess? RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Maz - Jul. 31, 2008 Yeah when beyblade started up in the states I started a team with two other friends. We called ourselves the spark shooters haha. We had a badge that we wore for the world championships I had it hanging under my OTC badge haha. Ill check later if its still on my photobucket and post it here. RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Train - Jul. 31, 2008 I had a team I started up with some friends online. Shadow was in it. They actually voted me to be Captain and I wanted nothing to do with that. We were Team Dark Star I came up with a training schedule and everything. RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Nolongeractive - Jul. 31, 2008 Oh awesome! I hope you do <3 i never got the chance to go to a Champoonships ;___; We were the "Bit Reapers!" But thats subject to change at this point RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - SexyMichael - Jul. 31, 2008 Back when beyblade was at the height of it's popularity in my area, one of the kids had a huge birthday party/beyblade tournament. A bunch of kids made teams and we had an amazing time. I was the "captain" of mine lawl. RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Nolongeractive - Jul. 31, 2008 awesome! but yet no one still answered my final question ;___; do I challange my ex-captain/friend for the leadership? RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - SexyMichael - Jul. 31, 2008 Well it may cause you to fight. You could ask her to be co-leader if you wouldn't mind that. RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Nolongeractive - Jul. 31, 2008 I already was, and she doesnt run the team at all anymore, nor very well. I was always doing so. Im the better of us both, and even if it did cause us to have a fight, we would get over it. RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Maz - Jul. 31, 2008 Do it. RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Nolongeractive - Jul. 31, 2008 =o really?! Alright! I shall! >=] RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Grey - Jul. 31, 2008 I imagined a team that we had, it had me and my two friends. I had Driger, my friend had a Dranzer custom, and my other friend had a Draciel custom. ...unfortunately, my friend w/ Dranzer is no longer living near me (he's either in Florida or somewhere in Illinois), and my friend w/ Draciel is now in Springfield, IL. ;_; RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Xeno - Jul. 31, 2008 Me and three of my friends used to be a team when beyblade first came out. We each had one type of beyblade (defense, attack, etc.) but I don't remember the name of it though. RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Nolongeractive - Jul. 31, 2008 Mine was much like yours Grey ![]() RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Maz - Jul. 31, 2008 Jin-May Wrote:=o really?! My Bro (Quit) 2. My Friend (Still Plays) 3. My Friends New Friend (Just started, uses my friend's beyblades) RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - FFX - Jul. 31, 2008 I am the leader of my own team. =) We're still together. Haha RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Nolongeractive - Jul. 31, 2008 Thats good ![]() RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Gotruto - Jul. 31, 2008 Oh yah, if you call mine a "Team", i was the best, first i always had the best beyblades and so beat them every time (They were defence beyblades...and tey were obsessed with attack beyblades, lol) but then all of my customizations broke...so i was around equal with then but then i started to use Balance beyblades instead of Defence (I didnt have enough defence parts) And now they discovered some really sweet attack combos to match with my newer balanced combos. RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - FFX - Jul. 31, 2008 GL Jin-May, I hope it goes well. Sadly a part of my team will be missing @ BotB, but we'll still take team challenges. RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Nolongeractive - Jul. 31, 2008 Thanks! And right now its just me and her, and a possibly noob. I know she will be going for my weak points, but Hey, I'm still better, she hardly ever beats me XD RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Pich - Jul. 31, 2008 I used to have a team with a few of my friends at school. It got extremely popular at the elementary I went to so at one time we had like 8 people on the team. Now I still a team with my brother, and 2 of my old friends. RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Sasch - Jul. 31, 2008 I think a team is quite useless and relates to the anime which hasn't much to do with the real game. Giving each team member one specification of attack, defense etc. makes them all lose variability in their game and so skill. Anyway, you can always team up with whoever you want, why make such an awkward team RE: Home teams and Beybattles and ect! - Gotruto - Jul. 31, 2008 Sasch Wrote:I think a team is quite useless and relates to the anime which hasn't much to do with the real game. Anyways, a team is pretty much justa group that you play and practice with, except you gave it the label team and named it. Do you really think that some1 who has no1 that klnows about beyblade to help him whatso-ever could become a great beyblader? Highly unlikely. And it was pretty much you choose a type, and then you master it and make an awesome beyblade with it...whats so dumb about that?... That and, the only type that requires much skill is Attack; the other types are all in the customization. |
