Air Date: Saturday May 6th, 2023 at 10:00am (Disney XD US)
The Bladers take a quick snack break. Jiji comes to the rescue with his signature scrumptious feast. Xander presents Bel with a challenge over who gets Jiji to stay with them.
The episode is great. Was not expected Xander to win again in this episode but my favorite moment was Bel feeling the joy of watching Xander and Valt battle. Time for Hizashi Brothers next week.
I enjoyed the episode, Bel vs Xander might be my favorite QS battle so far. I thought he'd win with him fighting for his grampa but Xander kinda just blitz thru him in the last battle.... Hate to judge, but I think Pri overall did slightly better against Xander than Bel did during their time at the dojo.
Pri had excellent strategies during her battles and even managed burst Xander in their first solo encounter while the most Bel could was score a ringout(that he barely won since Belial was nearly rungout too), but Bel survived a brutal r1 onslaught and Bel DID last longer in battle than Pri so I gotta give him credit there. Plus Pri got to have more solo battles with Xander so maybe Bel could've done more if he had a rematch as well.
I'm glad the writers gave Bel the spotlight in this episode and a chance to grow. I feel like Pri has been the only one getting any character development since the beginning of the series while Bel and Ranzo just train and play along with the plot as side characters so it was nice seeing Bel get some attention here. Hope they do this more, I wanna see Pri grow but the same applies to Bel, he can't improve if he barely has any episodes to lead/be the main focus of.
Overall it was a good episode but not as much as last week's ep imo. 7.5 or 8/10.
Not much to say compared to the last episode, but it was still a pretty good episode overall. The battle between Bell and Xander was a close one……At first but when Xander used power mode then it was no contest, he absolutely Blitzed and dominated Belial. When I saw that I was just amazed like “Xander has been holding back that much?!” This episode counties to show why Xander is a legend, he was on another level of power compared to Bell and the rest. Xander truly showed the meaning of a “ONE HIT K.O”.
But then we get a “Battle” that some fans have wanted being: The Legend of Legends vs The Unrivaled Sword. Ultimately i wished that the battle was longer and more intense instead of cutting to bell every 2 seconds….like they did with Valt vs Shu in DB….even Ranzo got a full battle against Xander. But it was still a nice treat as it was nice to see Valkyrie and Xcalibur clash one more time, in both their bey and avatar forms which was pretty cool. But Valt wins the battle and continues to show why hes the “Legend of Legends!” the worlds top blader, Winning 2-0
Great episode! Xander and Bell’s battle is great and I feel like even though the art here is… interesting I still thought the episode was great. Good to see Bell get more character development but I will say I’m annoyed how we didn’t get a proper Valt and Xander battle but it is what it is.
Overall a good 8/10 for me.
The episode was good, but I’m kinda uncomfortable at the immense power difference between Bell and Xander. If Xander is this powerful, hits how is the gang supposed to defeat real legends, like Shu, Lain, Aiger etc.? Also, props to Bell fo being the strongest non Legend and actually beating Base Xander in pure power. Easily the Best episode so far. 9.5/10. Kinda scared for Pri and Ranzo next episode though. If they can’t beat Xander using a regular launcher, Haifa and Hikaru will no diff them. Excited to see the better strategist between Hikaru and Pri nonetheless .
This episode is a direct replica of the last Bell vs Lui episode except in the last battle Xander just sent Belfyre into oblivion within 0.01 seconds. Xander maintained a 100%. Goes to show that he's not the one to count out even after so many years and that he could still be top 10 in the world if he was active. The only complaint I have with this episode is that I wanted to see a proper Valt vs Xander rematch because the last 4 episodes have been building up to this. Onto 4 boring episodes 😪
Another great episode. QuadStrike once again shows what respecting Blading Legends looks like. Bel got himself wrecked.
That's the power of a Blading Legend. The way it should be. The difference between QD and QS is night and day so far.
One thing I have to mention that made me lol is when Hannah said to Bel "You must be out of your mind to put GG on the line for a battle." Absolutely hilarious. I love Hannah. She has no problem putting Bel in his place lol.
Now for what we all wanted,
The Legend of Legends vs The Unrivaled Sword.
I really don't like that we didn't get a full battle between them. The constant cutting to Bel was just as bad as the Shu vs Valt battle from last season. What should have been an event battle was short changed big time. I will say though it was still good to see these Blading Legends throw down and it was especially good to see Valt beat the Unrivaled Sword that ran through all the bladers from these past few episodes showing once again why Valt is the Legend of Legends, the world's No. 1 Blader and World Champion.
All in all a good if not perfect episode.

That power difference is how it should be. Xander is one of the world's top bladers. It should be clear that he's on completely different level.
That is what the result of taking on a Legend should look like.
Also whose to say any of them will defeat legends. Maybe they won't.

Xander is S rank 10, so the power you see now is the strength of a legend thats been putting in the work for all these years. This episode is the perfect way of showing Xander’s insane strength.

What’s the point of them even battling if they always lose? Remember that trees produce fruits. If the characters don’t show any feats, then people will just be less interested in them as we want the characters to progress. Look at how much hate Rantaro got in Season 1&2 and then how much people liked him in Surge when he started showing feats against other strong characters. Besides, how are we going to feel tension in battles when the MC’s always lose simply for the crime of facing Legends? At the end of the day, the same result happening repeatedly is boring.

Pretty much perfectly said, Xander is a legend for a reason especially top 10, so him being on another level compared to the rest just makes sense. Im still shocked with how easily Xander beat Bell though, like if you were amazed with how powerful Xander was before then you would be absolutely shocked by the power he shows this episode. And this was Xander teasing Bell with what he’s actually capable of so he still has more power behind his launch.

Uh there's a thing called character development you know.....

I'm talking about their ability as Bladers, not their personalities. There's a difference.
