[Washington Dc,USA] Fall Tournament - Flame - Jul. 03, 2010
Hi, I am looking for people interested in joining a fall tournament, it will be after many more beyblades and stadiums come out so there won't be a reason not to have access to the MFB style beyblades.
WHAT: MFB style tournament in washington d.c.
When:Fall 2010 (Maybe september or october)
Where: Washington Dc national mall, near the smithsonian museum of Natural History
Why: To have fun
How: By gathering together and having a Beyblade tournament.

Well that's a good idea but here's the thing is it on weekends or weekdays? Cuz I get out of skool 2:10 I get home at 3 and my mom gets home from work at 4:30 :-/

I'm definitely interested in this, I can easily get to it in september if I am able to take my girlfriend to the museums afterwards. But like what StormMetal101 said, is it a weekend event or a weekday? That plays a lot into if I'll be able to go or not.

Also September 26th is on a Sunday which might cause some problem for some people.
A Saturday is your best option so I suggest the 18th/25th of September and/or 23'd/30th of October
Also that is a smart idea having it in the national mall since we can have it rain or shine.
So if your serious about having this tournament I will be able to go (If its on a saturday) and i'll be willing to help you set it up .

I would love to help set up the tournament and is it ok if my friend Dakota can come or he has to be a member?

If its on a saturday I can definately go, I got the OK from my gf, so now all I really need is dates, I'm pretty new to all of this but if I can help in any way, please let me know.

Yes you can use any part released by takara Tomy/Sono Kong/Hasbro with the exception of the Pre-HWS Libra wheel

No you need to get it approved by the WBO for it to be offical. In order to that you need to make a proposal in the Event proposal saying the following inside it
Name: The proposed name of the event.
Date: Approximate date you would like the event to take place.
Venue: Where the event will be held. If it's at a convention or other similar event, be sure to specify that!
Expected Turnout: How many people you expect to attend the event.
Format: What play format you want to run the tournament as.
Additional information: Any other information you can provide us. Tell us about yourself, your history with Beyblade, why you want to run a tournament ... generally, the more information you give us, the more likely we will approve your proposal (and the less likely we'll be to ask more questions)
Also you need a minimum of 8 people that say they can attend for it to be approved.
If you count Flame, StormMetal101, RultzBud, and Toonpenguin then we already have four people that say they can attend this tournament.

Storm WE do not have everything determined and since Flame hasn't been on in a couple of days, I don't want to take full control of the tourney until he comes back (or for another week which ever happens first)

Alright, So i've been thinking and it seems that Sepetember 25th would be the best date.
So if there aren't any problems with that date we will make that are date
As for time 2 o clock seems efficient.
If anyone thinks otherwise please give your input.
Also I think we should have it at the Washington Monument, Since its a national land mark everyone can easily find it and we can draw more people into beyblade by holding the event near the monument.
