銀河たちは、2回戦の会場であるロシアに向かっていた。旅の途中、まどかがアレクセイという少年と話したのをきっかけに、銀河たちは勝気な少女・ドーラと宇宙服を着込んだ少年・ノワグマと出会う。ロシアのSK宇宙訓練センターで宇宙科学を学ぶ彼らは、研究の一環としてベイブレードに取り組んでいるという。

"Ginga and Co. head to Russia, which is the place for their second match. In the middle of their trip, Madoka takes the opportunity to talk to a boy named Aleksei/Aleksey/Alexey and then Ginga and Co. meet Dora, a strong-minded girl and Nowaguma, a boy dressed in a space suit. They mention that they are studying space science at the Russian SK Space Training Center, working on Beyblades as part of their study."

Yeah, let's get ready for some intense Russia stereotypes. I bet everyone walks around with those furry hats and huge coats. Also, the boy dressed in the space suit is obviously a reference to the Russians' space program...

This is absurd. I hope they get to Canada, at one point, where everyone is dressed as a ranger and drinks nothing but maple syrup...

Zombies are scary. Kid in a space suit you say. Wow it's like kids dominate the world now in this show then again it shouldn't be much news on a show about kids playing a spinning top game.

I think "Nova Guma" is supposed to be a sort of word play with the Japanese kuma/guma, because the character's shape seriously resembles that of a bear ... He is at least twice as tall as the other team members, and he is slightly big.

The other Russian characters do not seem too bad at all actually.

It seems the person who took those forgot to take the image where all three or four beybladers stand in line, including Nova Guma. Moreover, there is a certain old scientist as well.

In that case, "Nova Guma's" correct name is "Nowaguma" and is derived from the tsukinowaguma (ツキノワグマ), the Asian Black Bear, which coincidentally inhabits Russia.

Nova Guma is...pretty big, but looks rather nice.

So.. I've not seen a large portion of the new anime yet.. But, when did it stop just beeing MFB and got the subtitle "Explosion" (just a question..)?

You should check the other episode threads we have. You will notice that at a certain number, it changed to the second season, Explosion.

I think that's not that bad, Russia is huge and it's not a suprise that things goes around this country , too. Russia is my country's neighbour and evil ( from historical aspect Pinching_eyes ) , but it's allright now Wink
