Ok, so I was looking into Lui Shirosagi's age in season 1 and found he was 10 years old. At which he beat Valt winning his 5th national championship in a row. Does this mean Lui was the best blader in Japan at age 5? If someone has some extra information or can confirm it I would appreciate it.
Seems like a very Hiro Morita thing to do so I would say yes

Depends on how often they hold the nationals. I guess annualy (yearly) would make the most sense which makes your hypothesis true. It could just be that the writers didn’t think the fact of winning his 5th championship through very well

Yes, in a Twitter post when that question "how old was Lui in season 1?", was asked, he said 10. So yeah, he was 5 or most likely 6 when he won his first national.
I heard that lui is 12 or 13 in s01 (yes he is just short, not young)
cause he is older than Valt that was 11 in the first season

then he is 11 not 10
but his birthday is at the end of the year (dec 25)
so is him the same age as valt but born the year before (older) or same age as valt but born in the same year (younger)?
valt was 13 in Beyblade Burst turbo and was 10 in burst. as was Lui. Lui was 13 in turbo. I assume he was 14 in gt. maybe 15-16 in sparking.

Valt was 11 in burst, Lui is the one that was 10. Valt is the same Age throughout the first two seasons meaning Lui is 12 in s3.
