Is it sad that after all the trash I talked about this game that I'm considering buying it today?
I still haven't even played the demo.
i've played around two hours of online, i die alot lol, but i get some kills too

is a lean and peek cover system that always stays first person, which is new. the mp warzone games idea is new too, it like 25min of un interupted. when people say KZ2 isn't that innovative, those two things get left out. $.02 lol
as the game progresses it continues to set it self apart, i promise. I just reached the desert location... its really OMG looking. the level design keeps surprising me.
veteran is still hard... snipers..
Yeah I almost bought it yesterday but I decided that I had better play the demo first because I'm still not entirely sold on the game.

lol yeah. when you first came on i tried to join you, so i just spectated, on cornith river.
but we did play.

i left the server we were playing because it had the same map on repeat, and it was a big map. i like the smaller maps better :p

oh yeah i kinda agree, that map is so hugee.
still I was playing a really long 32 player game after on that map and got like 151pts at the end lol. you do need alot of ppl.
anyway im done for today bro, got medic class unlocked.

i have the language set to norwegian, and in norwegian it's called "blodkanalen", idk about the english name lol, but it's one of the smallest maps

I played the demo today, finally.
I will admit that the graphics are carp crazy good, particularly the environments, but the character models look really carp dumb and though the character you play as animates gorgeously, the enemy models look like carp robots when they move around. I don't know if that's intentional or not, but still...
The controls also made me rage. I just couldn't get the hang of them for the life of me and spent most of the demo fumbling around trying to get comfortable with the layout and general inertia of the weapons.
So yeah... Suffice it to say that I wasn't very impressed and my initial thoughts of "Hey this looks like a gorgeous game with otherwise average components" weren't very far off the mark.

actually, you only passed me for a few minutes, when i was done last night, i was ahead again :p
i've got 3 badges unlocked, the 10 kills per round, the 20 and no errors one, and the plant and disarm one. one more round and i'll have the medic one too
roan, go to options and change button setup to "alternative 2" (not "option 2", but "alternative 2") and check down on hold in zoom. i hated the default buttons too

I am indeed, I play then I don't want to stop till I go up a rank lol.
Not sure how many badges I've unlocked will have to check, think it's about 5 or 6 though.
I'm on Visari on Campaign atm aswell it is damn hard on veteran
OK I finally finished Killzone 2 early tuesday morning.
And in many ways its excellent. I can honestly say its more intense than any other shooter I've played, super smart AI. I freaking died 300+ times on veteran, but a good sign of its design is I really didn't care because the gameplay is so nice.
Also the same scenario ALWAYS unfolds differenty. For instance I'd flank from the left with cover which was mostly sucessful until I died, but that didn't work the next time because AI reacted differently.
Story is pretty good, good enough for me anyway. Some disappointment with lip syncing... I dunno that detail bothered me.
Sev by the end is a great character, and I want to contiune as him in KZ3. The ending is pretty surprising and really sticks in my mind, really a high note.
BTW I pretty much ALWAYS watch the opening cinema its that good lol
Also I has to be said, it dosen't feel like a game at time. Its somewhere close to a cg movie. Its hard to describ but I do think it totally become its own thing, its unique.
I hate to give it a scale, so if you are or aren't a shooter fan, buy it. simple.

Behind the Bullet festurette on PSN its free and pretty damn cool especially with the debug features that show the layers of processing effects

New patch released last week, mainly the MP is more balanced and any and all control issues have been retified with option "high precision controls".
Any one holding off on this excellent shooter should pick it up, tide you at least till MW2...
This game really fell off the radar pretty quickly... I rarely ever hear anyone talking about it anymore.
