sick review, this game looks good.
but i'm wondering what makes this game lovable?
the footage in that review looks great and all, seems like solid game play..
but what is it that draws you into killzone?

like..half life 2 drew me in because of the atmosphere.
it doesnt look like it has a lot to offer in those terms IMO.

mind you i haven't even played it lmao.

Man I think thats flat wrong..lol. but I love Half-life 2, in that game I was drawn in by the variety in gameplay and puzzles. HL for being indoors.

For Killzone, I really enjoyed the first.
I got it well after release without any expectations and it actually became like my favorite game for a while.

lol i spent over 100hours offline.. OMG.
great art direction, and the back story of the helghast has since been fleshed out nicely.

BUT i AM SO PUMPED about the AI. they sound so clever, so the strategic use of
cover and flanking has got me so excited....you know using my brain. lol

Also Guerilla have made a big effort to make 2 very cinematic, sofar as
you can turn off HUDs and the crossairs (I plan too, plus play on Hard).
the animations and the FP cover system add to the "immersion".

GL, I'm just going on for ever and I haven't played it since BETA.
but yeah play it. I can definately attest to the online being addictive.

SO today is here and I have my copy, got to do some chores First,
then Im going online to rank up on my favorite maps. I kept my self spoiler free.
FCUK this Friday will be awsome

HIGGGGGGGGGGGGS, TIME TO DIE!!!!!!!

lmao i made this topic...im such a fanboyyyy g'damn
I'd pick this up, but you know the whole I'm not much into shooters... I'm sure my brother will. But he'll have fun, since we still haven't gotten that DNS error resolved yet.
been merkin the show on on killzone 2 hahah best misson so far was the bridge(the train is pretty dang good aswell)
Got the demo downloaded. Played it.

The graphics are insane, and the gameplay is polished, but during the whole time I was playing, I felt as if I had already played this exact same game before. It's not a bad game by any means, it just isn't really exciting or innovative to me. Maybe I'm just not a huge fan of super-realistic FPS's.

All of that being said, I wouldn't mind picking it up later if I get some extra money.
i'm at the last boss
not really a big spoiler, but i hid the text just in case. normal difficulty if it matters
I wanna know the story behind Killzone so I will play the first one and if I can get my hands on a PS3 without buying one I shall play the second one. Looks really good by the way.
ugh carp this, i'm giving up on the last boss, just playing online for now

Try getting Killzone: Liberation for PSP if you have one, as it directly follows the events of the first Killzone.
who wants to come online with me and some true gangster later?
I should have it by Tuesday I will play online with you then Tongue_out
I'll need to get use to the controls, been playing the demo over & over. To use to COD 5 controls lol.
yeah the controls feel is unique. Aiming has acceleration, as in the the gun's inertia, so the response is different. and there isn't auto aim helping you, harder to track moving targets. Tongue_out

I jumped online first, and to be honest I wasn't feeling it. it seemed to play different than the beta. after a break I came back to play the campaign and it suddenly felt right. then after I opened the Flood Gates, I really got into it
BTW I'm playing through on veteran first time through. It is FFFn hard. As much as im enjoying it, I am still taking things too fast.

Im hardly being that tactical and have died alot, but it doesn't get old because everytime the helghast say something thats lol worthy
like "JOIN YOUR DEAD COMERADES" or they pose in view of your death shaking their fist or raise arms up. LOL
replaying from the last checkpoint always turns out different, the AI is excellent.

Minus puzzles, I think the level design is as good as Half-life 1 & 2. Its sweet as hell. everyone should cop it.

Guerilla is looking to also really support and be invovled on message boards etc. GG r OGs.

go to control settings, use "alternative 2" and check down on "hold zoom"

= almost identical to Call of Duty 4 and 5 Smile
