Since my other one's string broke last week, I gotta whip out the other one I kept as a backup. I've only started using it for roughly 2 days and it's already showing clear problems, namely that the string gets a bit stuck and makes a lot of grinding noises when its a few inches away from fully compressing back. As well as the prongs needing an extra 2-3 rotations to the right in order to lock the beyblade into place(basically this is when the prongs just stop rotating unless you click the launcher) even though the string is completely compressed.

At this point I just want to know what's wrong with this thing, because I'm not going to bother opening it because of the stupidly tight screws. And its not guranteed to get fixed even if I open it, anyway.
The issue is simple
----"(basically this is when the prongs just stop rotating unless you click the launcher)"---
the gears are broken from the inside from the clicking while your going need a second string launcher for its parts to fix it
this issue is comman from heat or all the clicking that's getting done
last thing the launcher gears must have slip and its not responding as good with the sting and its causing the launcher to jam
or the launcher is extremely worn down and makes the gears to slip up
just make sure to STOP clicking the laucnher if you want the laucnher last bit longer
everything is up to you its your launcher
am just giving you a recommendation to prevent any harm from the worn down gears
its your launcher anyways the choices are really up to you

Sparking launchers are known both for their great power and bad durability. You can't really stop this unless you're super paranoid about it and hardly ever use it, which just takes the fun out of it. I suggest only using it on occasions, such as when your going to a tournament. Really, just use the most common LR string launcher for everyday uses at your home and such.

You misundertood me a bit.

This launcher is relatively new, and while I technically had this months back I never actually used it. I also did not click the launcher, what I meant was that for whatever reason, even if the string hasn't been pulled, the prongs sometimes need 1-2 more rotations to the right in order to lock the beyblade into place. As in, the prongs move smoothly before it stops(before any actual clicking happens) even though it's not supposed to do that unless the string has been pulled out.
My left sparking launcher still usable I owned it ever since it was released, feels good

My red right sparking launcher are kinda have problem now,buy at the same times as left sparking, but feels kinda almost broken, still usable, somehow it became shorter than blue left spin, easier to launch

My black sparking launcher I use it only 10 times(yes i counted it,then after some month it broke in one launched,i buy when variant lucifer was first released

I use left sparking launcher harder, since mostly for rage flower pattern, but somehow the launcher last longer

1# launcher that came in starter usually didn't last long (for me at least)

2# sparking launcher clearly wear down faster than my gold LR string launcher, maybe due to spark gimmicks, heavier beys, longer string=more pressure on the launcher while the spring&gear didn't upgrade much for better durability
It is case by case. I have been using my japanese red and blue sparking launchers over 9 months without having problems. Compared to japanese ones, the Korean ones which have minor modifications in order to pass their own quality control, break easily. I always pull the string once or twice before I launch. Often times, the string was tangled and stuck inside.
