Well, I am making a bey called Corrupt Valtryek. It is an attack type, and I am also making Inferno Guard which is a defense type. Corrupt is a Turbo bey, and Inferno is a Rise bey. (PS: They are also both Hasbro-themed). And I mainly need ideas for Valtryek, because my gimmick for Inferno Guard is the spring guard. It is like Genesis Valtryek's spring launch except that it doesn't spring forward really fast so it absorbs attacks.

For the attack type try an spring gimmick. For the shape go for a mix of Hyperion Burn and Imperial Dragon (maybe have the wings on imperial extend outwards like burn). For the defense type bey try to go for a round shape with ridges like twisted tempo around the layer. For the attack type driver try to focus on late game stamina, so try a flat plastic driver. For the defense driver try something with stamina and something that can grip on the stadium, this can be done by giving it the shape of RDF.
Decorations: since I know the attack type is Valkyrie try this, the extending wings can be red while the main bey is blue. For the defense type go for a red/gold scheme.

Thanks, some of that info was useful. I already have the color scheme for Valtryek, but that defense color seems cool. I would like to have a little more of a special gimmick for Valtryek, though. And thanks this does help a little.
So after a while, I have decided to cancel Corrupt Valtryek because there are already 86 Valtryeks out there and it just was't a great idea, but the spring-loaded defense type layer is in the phase 1 out of 4. The 4 phases? First, there is Basic Design and Ideas, then Deciding Ideas and Art design, after there is Working out kinks and making an official prototype, and finally there is desigining and 3D-printing. Thanks for the art scheme idea. I will try to post an image of it so far

I completely dropped the defense type;
When i said it didn't work, i was referring to the image, and about the driver, since you dropped it out, i could pick it up and work on it while you work on the attack type

Those protrusions on the layer are going to snap off in you’re pockets or in battle, you would be better off trying to make those into blades (sort of like cho-z Valkyrie or cho-z Achilles).

Ah, I just wanted it to have some insane damage. It could break, and I'm not willing to spend an extra 40 bucks on better plastic for it to last a bit longer... also the recoil would probably be much too high. Thanks
