The ep is in a few hours. Just letting you know

Yup. I'm considering staying up for it.

Then too strongest can be interpreted in several ways so again there’s nothing super concrete from which we can determine that he’s the strongest and everything’s super irrelevant or outdated. I get that you don’t want to do this (hence why you won’t get the notification), but I feel it’s very important that things like this be left to the reader when there’s nothing backing it up.

It would be super spicy if Bell was related to Phi and Hyde.

I’m really enjoying the db dynamic. It’s like my dream burst series (being Turbo and GT mixed with a little bit of sparking)

The statement is very clear. I honestly don't understand what's difficult to wrap ones head around about this. It's direct, concrete, and simple. To suggest that this doesn't mean he's the Strongest Blader is a very huge stretch. I mean come on. It's black and white and there's nothing to interpret. Valt's the Strongest Blader in the World. Period. It's a simple fact the show had presented to us. There's nothing to be left to the reader when it's been flat out directly stated. Some may not like it but the facts are the facts. Truthfully I don't see the need to keep going over this when the proof has been laid bare. I understand that some, no matter how small that number may be, wishes this wasn't true, but it is, and there's nothing to alter the facts. They flat out stated that Valt is the Strongest Blader in the World. It doesn't get any clearer than that. If some don't see that after such a direct statement, I think it's because they don't want to see it.

The show has only gave us facts which we can’t work with (due to stadiums not being standard) so while the authors have stated it I’m calling the statement bs due to a lack of evidence to back it up. I guess if you want to believe that the author’s words are final you do you while I’ll do me and not believe it (not to mention Lane literally beats Valt and everyone else so wouldn’t that logically make him the strongest in sparking despite sparking dubbing Valt the crown?)

Both Sparking and DB have confirmed that Valt is the Strongest Blader in the World. So anything Lane did is irrelevant now even if a person even believes Lane was the strongest in sparking (which I don't given that Valt defeated him and Shu and therefore Lane being the strongest is up for debate). Season 6 which takes place after the events of sparking has confirmed that Valt is the Strongest Blader in the World. Not saying you have to like it, but facts are facts.
Well we have no other option but to take the authors word. The main problem is that this is an example of bad writing. There should be a clarification about the reason why Valt is suddenly the strongest.

Honestly, it’s because he’s Valt. He’s the face of the burst series and the most important character in the saga as a whole and they want to keep it that way. It really isn’t bad writing when you think about it, this is just how writers narrow out excessive telling.

Well i get your point; however you cannot deny this is poor writing. We just have to speculate that there was a match between Valt and Aiga ( or lean) that resulted in him winning and getting number 1 spot. This fact should have been clarified in the Anime. Lets hope they do so in future eps ( ik its not important to the plot; but still a clarification would be nice)

If anything, I would say that it’s great writing. An explanation of Valt being at the top has no significance to the overall story nor does it serve as creative filler so as a result, it becomes almost imperative to skip through the showing and telling of the events. It’s the same as a story focused on hmmm... let’s say a guy coming home from work to find his house in a mess. Now, the author isn’t going to write in detail about how he got home because the relevant events of the story occur when he does arrive home. It’s the same here, it doesn’t matter how Valt reached the top because he isn’t much of a focus himself.

-Edit: Of course, an explanation may be relevant to some people so I can understand the opinions but generally, I would say it’s good writing.  These types of things can also be a matter of opinion.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I completely agree.
Y'all still arguing that Aiga is stronger than Valt and vice versa? This Fandom makes my head hurt bro.

Guys. Do you think Bell replacing his launcher with a Lightning launcher would make Belial faster
(Apr. 12, 2021  11:03 PM)TitanDragon Wrote: [ -> ]Guys. Do you think Bell replacing his launcher with a Lightning launcher would make Belial faster

Peobably not. Bell's launcher seems to be a customized Sparking Launcher of sorts and he uses it just fine as it is. I don't think replacing it with a standard model would do anything to change the performance.
When's Bell gonna lose...?

You have to wait and see?
It's not about patience, correct me if I'm mistaken but there isn't a single main character that has ever won their first battle for the season. And Bell is out there beating Lui.

Bell has way more plot armor than Lane.

Plot armour doesn't even make sense here. I really dont know why ppl just use the term randomly everywhere.  The main character is not a weak nobody. He has challenged the entire world's bladers so he definitely is strong.

Lui also lost to a valid reason. Belial went under longinus and therefore rage upper was useless

I would advise to not use plot armour randomly everytime

Lol how Bell is strong from the gates his not introduces as a rookie at all. You wanna complain he beat lui Who has rage while he has the new system? What did you think would happen lui beat the new system with his now old system lol.  Plus Bell only beat one strong blader both basara & ranzo are not big bois plus neither even has a db bey to begin with so tell me where do you see him having more plot armor than lane cause it seems you not only didnt watch sparking but also dynamite & simply want to criticize a character Who havent even beat bladers with actual db beys lol. Do some of you even understand the meaning of plot armor
