I agree but they are definitely not nearly as popular as Free and Lui combined. I would rather have a new Fafnir/Longinus than a new Dragon/Achilles.
Honestly if Bell doesn’t constantly win this show isn’t going to make that much sense.

So....yeah, just saw the new leaks and here are my thoughts 'cause why not?
Valt and Shu are back, hooray(?). Don't get me wrong, as much as I love these two, I have the feeling this might be the point where they just need to stop coming back (same goes for Free & Lui but to a lesser extent)
I'm also kinda sad that the Asahi bros (especially Hikaru), Drum and Aiga aren't coming back (but I still have some hope the bros will pull a GT Aiga mid-season, that might be nice if they do it properly this time).
As for the new characters...grey-haired Django looks to me like he'll be the starting rival type of character (think Fubuki for example) which is sad since I usually end up liking them and they get shafted, ice-cream Kiyama is a HUGE disappointment that I won't get over unless the character is exceptionally special (which is highly unlikely but I'll have some faith in the writers for once; at least they gave Rantaro and Ranjiro some justice last season), I don't know how to feel about the Xhaka ripoff in the higher corner but he also looks like a rival character, and Bell...I would've said he looks badass if not for the fact that he also looks kinda cute. Belial seems pretty cool tho, and it better live up to the hype.
I wish we got a new studio to look closer to Hiro Morita’s style. Unfortunately every non Duel Masters series just gets OLM. Duel Masters seems to get multiple animations studios cause they’re putting most of the budget towards it due to it being one of if not the most popular current Corocoro series. Maybe if Burst gets popular enough they can switch studios.

That actually sounds like a great character. Although, if Bell actually is a demon king (and not one of THOSE guys) I’m not sure that would be the best idea.

At first I thought it was the page angle but I looked harder and Valt's eyes are black, maybe he's evil or sumthing
It's like a all black Rhombus with 1 white looking pupil inside.

It’s probably just the angle of the photo. Although this season was supposedly rumored to go into darker themes so it’s still possible. Maybe they’ll be like “Valt has been possessed by some weird entity” and the person that is responsible is that “Xander like dude” on the poster.

I’m pretty sure it’s black too. I saw a better picture yesterday and you can see the right eye better.

I have a theory. The guy on the upper left is the villain and is connected to Bael (who becomes responsible for corrupting Valt under that guy’s order) and his mission is becoming stronger to defeating him and free him from his darkness

Well it’s obviously not going to be that simple. Probably end up getting possessed or corrupted against free will.
There's a clear duality between the Fire hair guy and the black eyed Valt but idk what it is lol
