My reboot driver won't activate unless a bey hits it or i interfere.
no amount of launching can get it to activate normally.
is this normal

No
Is there a fix?

Maybe, but I dunno. My guess is that the stick that comes out is probably stuck or something is stuck in the driver. Maybe take the driver apart, clean it, clear it out and put it back together.

You use a small screwdriver, take the screws out, and boom.

Real burst drivers don’t have screws, they have rivets. Except for Hybrid and Ignition’ so the batteries can be changed.

You can try launching on a flat surface to see if you can see the stick or not, especially if it’s not ultimate reboot it’s not the biggest speed increase.

Can you still pull the thingys? If so, it’s normal. After a few months or years, the driver gets stuck. My old friend had that problem.

If you launch it on its own and let it spin will it activate? After spinning and you pick it up is the stick in or out? Is it reboot or ultimate reboot? Fake or Real, if it’s real hasbro or TT? Is there anything that could be blocking it, like a chipped off piece of a Bey or a sticker stuck in it? Some of these questions might help, you can also post pictures of the driver.
Try spraying one of those compressed air dusters into the tip. There may be something blocking the way.

no, in, reboot, Real; Hasbro, No.
You could try lubricating the gears inside (you need a really small nozzle) I did that and my reboot driver worked fine after that

So you can see the stick, but when you pick it up it’s rebooted? It sounds like it works, rebooting isn’t always a very big speed increase.
Just buy a new one I have a ultimate reboot mint condition

Yes, but nothing happens when it spins by itself

But then does it really matter? As long as it will reboot in a battle you should be fine?
