This is my fanfic about Chase, a 11 year old who's friend discovers a few meteorites that could change beyblades forever. This takes place during/after the era of sparking. Anyway, enjoy!

“What’s up man?” James elbowed Chase as they exited school.
“Not much, another easy day.” Chase replied.
“What do you mean, easy? Don’t you have like, any homework?” James said, sounding confused.
“Of course, loads!” Chase replied.
I wonder what happened, James thought. Ever since he found that store...ugh, he won’t tell me anything about it. that probably has some connection to it. He is so laid back and isn’t concerned about anything!
Later that night, when Chase got home.
“I’m home mom!”
“Ok honey, bread is on the table.” Replied Chase’s mom from somewhere around the house. Chase didn’t care. He just wanted to get back to that store. He shoved his homework on the table along with his textbooks and Satan’s pad.
“Same time back mom!” Chase yelled at the house as he grabbed his bread and bolted out the door.
At “Leo’s super sick shop” or lsss for short, Chase and the owner, Leo work on Chase’s bey, Curse Satan (based off the legend himself.) aero’ (A disc Chase had created.) hold’ 1D.
“How’s he holdin’ up Chase?” Leo asked as Chase entered the lsss.
“He’s fine, but I think the math homework got him tired out.” Chase said, remembering stacking the math textbooks in front of Satan with his homework, a pencil, and a spinning plate powered by batteries to keep him spinning when he started to run out of stamina. He had gone outside to play basketball with James for a bit, and after 1 hour, he went back in to find all his homework done and the textbooks in a neat stack. That had been great for him and tiring for Satan. Satan didn’t mind, he just liked the polishing he got after Chase got his report card.
“Ah, I see.” Leo said. He rummaged behind a counter and brought out cleaning materials. “Treat Satan with these and he’ll be good as new!”
“Thanks Leo!” Chase said.
“Want to make any progress on our little “Project”?” Leo asked. Our little project, Chase thought. Leo had found a few meteorites that they were trying to infuse with sparking beys.
“Why not, maybe we’ll make a breakthrough.”
“Not much, another easy day.” Chase replied.
“What do you mean, easy? Don’t you have like, any homework?” James said, sounding confused.

Chapter 2: Brave Solomon

They walked into the forge where all kinds of machines were. Sitting to the back, were two meteorites. One was red and one was blue. To the side was an enclosure like an aquarium with a yellow meteorite in it also a bey was in there. It was their experiment bey: Brave Solomon.
“Alright, let’s see how the exposure went.” Leo said walking toward the enclosure. Chase ran to it, barely managing to stop himself before hitting it.
“Woah there!” Leo said as he caught up.
“Can I touch Solomon?” Chase asked eagerly.
“I don’t know if that’s safe.” Leo responded, concerned.
“C’mon please?” Chase begged.
“Fine, I won’t stop you.” Leo said
“YES!!” Chase yelled as he opened the enclosure. He reached for brave Solomon, but Leo grabbed his arm.
“There is something I need to explain to you first.” Leo said. Chase nodded as he closed the enclosure and looked at Leo
“There is a concept called “Beybattling” Basically it is when two people spin their beyblades in an arena and try to make the other one stop spinning, exit the arena, or burst. If the opponent stops spinning, or exits the stadium, it is worth one point. If they burst, it is worth two points. Matches are played to two points, but sometimes formal matches are played to three.”
“Formal matches? There is an organization for this? HOW COME I HAVEN’T HEARD OF THIS?” Chase practically screamed with excitement back.
“Because where we live, we are halfway across the world from the main beyblade spot.” Leo replied.
“You are telling me beyblade is that popular in Japan? No wonder I haven’t heard anything back from Hikaru ever since he moved there after seeing something on his tablet, I bet it WAS A BATTLE!”
“That’s probably it. You can go and touch Solomon all you want now.”
Chase opened the enclosure and shoved his hand in there, grabbed brave Solomon, and brought him out.
“He’s a lot more yellow than I remember.” Chase noticed. “That’s probably because he was there with the yellow meteorite!” Leo nodded.
“Alright, let’s give him a spin.” Leo said.

Chapter 3: The Lightning Bey

“But he doesn’t have a combo and I left Satan doing my homework!” Chase complains.
“I got that covered.” Leo says as he pulls some pieces out of his pocket.
“woah, what are those?”
“This is variable dash” Leo says, pointing to the tip. “And this is 1A” He says, pointing to the chassis. He assembles Brave Solomon variable’ 1A and hands it to Chase. Chase loads Solomon on his launcher and launches it. Brave Solomon dashes around the stadium before hitting a wall and bouncing back up to chase.
“Hm, interesting.” Leo said. “It appears Solomon has chosen you but hasn’t been mastered yet, of course.
“What does it mean if he “Chooses” me?” Chase asked puzzledly.
“It means that the bey wants you to be its blader.” Leo said. He frowned, “I don’t know why though, seeing as you already have Satan.” They thought in silence for a bit until finally Chase got an Idea.
“I got it!” Chase exclaimed. Leo nodded as for him to go on. “Satan will be my homework beyblade and Solomon will be my battling beyblade!”
“Alright, now that you have claimed Solomon try to spin him again. But this time to the traditional call when you launch a beyblade. It goes 3, 2, 1, Go shoot!”
“Alright!” Chase said. He was already bursting will excitement.
“3, 2, 1, go Shoot!” Chase yelled as he yanked the string on his launcher as hard as he could. Solomon landed in the stadium and bounced against a wall, cracking it. Leo yelled something but Chase didn’t hear him, he was too focused on Solomon.
“Go Solomon!” He shouted! A flash of lightning flew into Solomon. Solomon accelerated and smashed into the wall, sending a cloud of smoke up. Chase could have sworn he saw Solomon glow gold for a second. Leo coughed.
“What is this power? It’s unlike any other bey I’ve ever seen!” Leo sounded shocked.
“The lightning must have given it power somehow!” Chase yelled over the wind. WIND. Chase hadn’t noticed it before, but a strong wind was blowing through the room! Rain tickled his head. RAIN. What was going on? It had been sunny a minute ago!
As the smoke cleared, Chase knew something was wrong. There was a hole in the ceiling. Outside, a thunderstorm was raging. Rain was pouring down now, and Solomon had burst. Or at least he thought it was Solomon. The bey looked completely different now. It had four curved blades like a throwing star, it was yellow, and in the center, the symbol was different. It was now the top half of a triangle above the bottom half of a square with a green dot in the center. Most of the symbol was tan except for the dot. The entire ring and base of the chip was yellow. Solomon had transformed.

“To me it looks like that bey of yours did two things.” Leo sounded like he knew what he was talking about, which surprised Chase. “One, your bey transformed. Two, you BLEW A HOLE IN MY FORGE’S ROOF!” Chase had to stop himself from laughing. “I give you that this is legendary but STILL!”
“Sorry Leo,” Chase said. What should I name this bey? He wondered. Surely because it changed so much it shouldn’t still be called Brave Solomon. He picked up the bey and noticed that the chassis had also changed to a left spinning chassis with four blades to match the ring. The tip had also changed from variable’ to a unite’.
“Woah, this IS SICK!” Chase shouted. “I’m going to call you ABYSS RA!”
“Sorry to interrupt your moment, but let’s go back to the shop, I’m drenched.” Leo said. He led them back to the shop.
After that, Chase came home, and Satan was done with homework.
“Nice job Satan.” Chase said as he polished him up in his room. “Maybe we can have a battle between the two! Oh, that’s right, battles! Where did Leo say was bey central again, oh right, Japan! Maybe I can go there and have some battles and see Hikaru and Hyuga again!” He picked up Ra and admired him for the millionth time that day.
“Before you get excited to go to Japan, I have something to tell you!” Came a voice from the doorway. Chase looked up.
“Leo?” Chase asked?
“Yup, it’s me.” Leo said. “I got good news. A famous TV channel contacted us and wants us to explain about Abyss Ra!”
“REALLY?” Leo had Chase’s attention now.
“Yeah. They are saying people would love to get their hands on a new type of bey.”
“A new type of bey?” Chase was confused. “But Ra is a sparking bey.”
“Not so. I have done testing and thinks it is a new series. I’ve decided to call them ‘Element’ beys.”
“Cool!”
“Yup and it gets better.” Leo sounded exited now. Chase was bouncing up and down on his bed. “We’re going to be broadcast live all over the world! Includi-”
“ng JAPAN?” Chase said. He was jumping up and down. “Hikaru and Hyuga will see it!”

Chapter 5: An old friend.

“Hikaru?” Came a call from downstairs.
“Yes mom?” I roll out of bed and look at the clock. It reads 11:30 pm.
“I need you to come downstairs for something.”
“But it’s 11:30!”
“Yeah, well I need you to come down!”
“Fine mom.” I trudged down the stairs and saw my mom standing next to the TV. On the screen was an ad. I figured that wasn’t what she wanted me to see. I went and sat on the couch. Hyuga was already sitting there.
“Hey Bro.” Hyuga said. “You remember Chase?”
“Yeah why?”
“Because rumor says he has created a new kind of bey!”
“No way!” Hikaru was shocked. He looked at his own Helios volcano, wondering how long it would be before it stood no chance.
“Yeah, and he’s going on TV.”
“Why at 11:30 though?”
“Because of the time difference from there to here.” Hikaru nodded and Hyuga pointed to the TV.
“Heeeeeeeello Ladies and gentlemen all around the world!” The announcer was on the TV.
After the announcer was done explaining what was going on, he introduced someone named Leo and Chase. Chase looked so much older than when he and Hyuga had moved to Japan. After they were done showing off the first ‘Element’ bey”, Abyss Ra. After they showed the footage of what happened at the forge, Chase had a surprise.
“Everyone around the world, listen up! I know you are very excited, and all want to get your hands on one of these element beys so I’m going to demonstrate a battle broadcast all over the world! I am going to challenge Valt Aoi, one of the strongest bladers in the world. Which means, you guessed it, I’m going to Japan!” WHAT??!???!?!?! Chase is coming to Japan to challenge Valt Aoi?!?!? Abyss Ra seemed strong, but is it that strong?
“We better watch that make Hyuga.”
“Yup, but who do we cheer for?”
“Yes mom?” I roll out of bed and look at the clock. It reads 11:30 pm.

Chapter 6: Valt Aoi

“Alright everybody!” The announcer’s voice rang throughout the arena. “Welcome to the showcase of Element beys!” The audience cheered.
“Today’s battle pitches our current champion, Valt Aoi against the newcomer with the Element bey, Abyss Ra, Chase....um, Chase...?” He looked at chase
“Just call me Chase.” Chase responded.
“Ok against Chase!” The announcer sounded just as excited. Valt turned to Chase.
“Let’s have a great battle, okay?”
“Uh, sure.” Chase responded. He was confused by Valt’s attitude. Chase thought people got serious during battles!
“First battle.” The ref called.
“Three! two! one! go shoot!” The audience called. Chase and Valt launched.
“Go, Valkyrie!” Valt shouted. Valkyrie smashed into Ra with the rubber blades on its ring.
“Hang in there Ra!” Chase called. He was loving this already! He could see why battling was so popular!
“Go! Rush shoot!” Valt called. Rush shoot must be one of Valkyrie’s moves, Chase thought. Valkyrie pounded Ra with attacks from all sides. Chase could see Ra losing stamina. He had to act fast.
“Go, Abyss Ra!” Chase yelled. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” Ra started to glow gold. He had not seen this before but Valt had.
“Gold.” Valt whispered. “Turbo?” Valt seemed shocked. Ra gave off gold sparkles as he slammed into Valkyrie, doing 50% burst damage. Valt got over his shock.
“This makes things interesting!” VALKYRIE!”
(Awakens)
“LIMIT BREAK! RAISE!”

Chapter 7: "Limit Break"

Suddenly, all three of Valkyrie’s blades flipped 180 degrees and exposed metal blades instead of rubber.
“What?” Chase said. His mind raced. What is this “limit break” move? It seemed to trigger when he took the damage and hold up. Is that a disc on Valkyrie? Look at those protrusions, those must have something to do with it. But what allowed it to have a disc? I don’t see a single chassis...or a double chassis! It must be fused with the ring. Yeah! That must have given it enough space to do that.
“That is so cool!” Chase called. “Go, Ra!” Ra charged up and headed towards Valkyrie. He smashed into Valkyrie and slammed him into a wall.
“Not so fast, Raised winged shoot!” Valkyrie bounced off the wall and headed towards Ra.
“GO! RA! Lightning flash whip!” A bolt of lightning struck Ra and he charged toward Valkyrie. They made contact and sparks went flying everywhere. Valt and Chase shielded themselves but Valt was knocked off his feet and he flew backward. When he landed, he didn’t stay laying on the ground. He got back up just in time to see Valkyrie fly out of the stadium and burst midair. Valt stared up in shock.
“IT’S ALL OVER FANS!” The announcer boomed. “AND THE WINNER OF THIS HARD-FOUGHT BATTLE IS CHASE!” The crowd cheered wildly.
“Woah, that was fun Valt said walking over.”
“Yeah, that was actually my first battle.”
“Well, you are good for a beginner.”
“Thanks, hey I have a question.”
“Sure, what is it?”
“Do you want me to make Valkyrie an element bey?”
“That would be great!” Valt says. “Then I can have payback.” They both laugh.
When Chase goes back to the hotel, Leo is surprised to see Valt walking in as well.
“Huh, what’s Valt doing here?” He asked.
“Chase here offered to make my Valkyrie and element bey.” Valt said.
“Did he now?” Leo looked like he was thinking. “Well, I suppose we could do that. There’s just one slight problem. Sarcasm on the “slight” part.” Leo said.
“And that is...” Said Valt.
“We made Ra from a meteorite.” Leo explained. “And- Hold up. Is that bey of your blue per chance?”
“Yes, why?” Valt said.
“Because back in the forge we have got a blue meteorite, so that would be perfect.”
“What?” Chase said. His mind raced. What is this “limit break” move? It seemed to trigger when he took the damage and hold up. Is that a disc on Valkyrie? Look at those protrusions, those must have something to do with it. But what allowed it to have a disc? I don’t see a single chassis...or a double chassis! It must be fused with the ring. Yeah! That must have given it enough space to do that.
“That is so cool!” Chase called. “Go, Ra!” Ra charged up and headed towards Valkyrie. He smashed into Valkyrie and slammed him into a wall.
“Not so fast, Raised winged shoot!” Valkyrie bounced off the wall and headed towards Ra.
“GO! RA! Lightning flash whip!” A bolt of lightning struck Ra and he charged toward Valkyrie. They made contact and sparks went flying everywhere. Valt and Chase shielded themselves but Valt was knocked off his feet and he flew backward. When he landed, he didn’t stay laying on the ground. He got back up just in time to see Valkyrie fly out of the stadium and burst midair. Valt stared up in shock.
“IT’S ALL OVER FANS!” The announcer boomed. “AND THE WINNER OF THIS HARD-FOUGHT BATTLE IS CHASE!” The crowd cheered wildly.
“Woah, that was fun Valt said walking over.”
“Yeah, that was actually my first battle.”
“Well, you are good for a beginner.”
“Thanks, hey I have a question.”
“Sure, what is it?”
“Do you want me to make Valkyrie an element bey?”
“That would be great!” Valt says. “Then I can have payback.” They both laugh.
When Chase goes back to the hotel, Leo is surprised to see Valt walking in as well.
“Huh, what’s Valt doing here?” He asked.
“Chase here offered to make my Valkyrie and element bey.” Valt said.
“Did he now?” Leo looked like he was thinking. “Well, I suppose we could do that. There’s just one slight problem. Sarcasm on the “slight” part.” Leo said.
“And that is...” Said Valt.
“We made Ra from a meteorite.” Leo explained. “And- Hold up. Is that bey of your blue per chance?”
“Yes, why?” Valt said.
“Because back in the forge we have got a blue meteorite, so that would be perfect.”
Chapter 9: Rematch

“Alright!” The announcer’s voice boomed across the stadium once again. Let’s go. Chase thought. As soon as they could, He, Leo, and Valt had booked a flight back to Japan for a rematch.
“This is the second battle between Chase...” The announcer paused for a few seconds, then, remembered that I hadn’t told my last name last time, continued. “And Valt Aoi!” Then the crowd cheered as me and Valt took our spots.
“3, 2, 1, Go Shoot!” Me and Valt launched our beys.
“Go, Rush shoot!” Valt called and valkyrie went into a flower pattern, forcing Ra into the center. This is not good, thought Chase. I need to do something.
“Ra!” He called. “Go!” Ra started parrying all of Valkyrie’s attacks. “Now blast him out of here!” Ra went gold turbo again.
“Valkyrie!”

“Rider’s sword!” Valkyrie’s three blades glowed with blue energy.
“Ra! Hit him with golden sandstorm!” The two beys charged at each other and clashed. A wave of energy rolled across the stadium. Chase and Valt shielded themselves as a bey came flying out of the stadium. It was Valkyrie!
“Abyss Ra, ring out finish. Score is 1-0" Called the ref.
“Yes!” Chase called as Valt picked up Valkyrie and they got in position again.
“3, 2, 1, Go Shoot!” This time Chase wasted no time attacking.
“Ra, counter slash!” Ra charged toward Valkyrie, smashing him against the wall.
“Valkyrie!”
“winds of water!” Valkyrie charged toward Ra, glowing blue.
“Ra, Golden sandstorm!” Ra went gold turbo and both beys clashed, and more energy waves rolled across the stadium. Another bey went flying out of the stadium as Chase flew backward and landed on the ground just in time to see Ra burst.

Chapter 10: Era of the Elements

“Valkyrie Rider, burst finish. Valt Aoi is the winner.” The ref called. The crowd went wild. Chase couldn’t believe what had just happened.
“Hey man.” Valt walked over to him and Chase got up. “Nice battle, shake on it?” Chase nodded and they shook hands. Chase looked in the audience and saw Leo, Hikaru, Hyuga, and even Drum, Aiga, and Free!
“Wow.” Chase said. “A lot of people came to watch.”
“Yeah.” Valt replied. “The legends came for Element beys.”
“WHAT?!” Chase yelled. “Ok look. We don’t have enough meteorites-”
“The legends found their own.” Valt interrupted.
“-and we don’t have enough enclosures-”
“Over at the Akabe’s farm we do.”
“Fine, Me and Leo will see what we can do.”
“Great!” Valt said and gestured for Free, Aiga, Drum, Hikaru, and Hyuga to come over here and explained our conversation. They were all excited. (especially Hyuga and Hikaru because they were the youngest there besides Chase.)
A few weeks, intense training, and a few element beys later They all were getting ready for a battle royale. Aiga with his ice element shard Achilles xtend+’ 4B and the sword, shield, and wing attachments (attack, defense, and stamina respectively), Free with his wind element stream Fafnir drift’ 3S, Valt with his water element Valkyrie Rider high evolution’ 5A, Chase with his lightning element Abyss Ra unite’ 3B, Hikaru with his Earth element royal Helios high zone’+z 4B, Hyuga with his fire element Flux Hyperion high xceed’+x 6A, and Drum with his light element Plasma Dragon charge metal’ 7A. They all burst at once.
