My friends and cousins give me weird looks of kinda have a mini laugh when I say I like beyblades but then I invite them over to play and then they get hooked. My cousins favorite beyblade is nightmare Longinus and she thought it was for kids (she’s 14 btw) and sometimes I go to small comic shops to look for beyblades and they reply “do they still even make those?” -internal sadness-

one of my problems
thats why I try not to hit them in the face even not being inside the school
they are kids and are fricking stupid (no offense to you kids in WBO, you are smart to use WBO instead of making fun of beyblades)

well i just enjoy it cus i used to see it when i was small
its just like hobby to me just for fun playing , watching etc
and they call me nerd for knowing some parts lol

Totally justified tbh it’s one of the cringiest and Ha Geeey tv shows ever. Imagine seeing an IRL bey battle it would be the most boring spectacle you’ve ever seen. In fact it’s best summed up in this little parody video

Beyblade is only exciting because of the music and camera effects. Proof that it’s lame IRL is that new adult system that’s been developed. The battles are soo slow and barely anything happens.

BUT. I love Beyblade as the toys are cool especially the plastic generation and they are fun for a while when doing battles. I like the music from the first seasons Beyblade has the hardest sound track I’ve ever heard on a kids show. The music does however suffer from very embarrassing lyrics and you wouldn’t listen to the songs as an adult too loudly in your car, definitely not in front of a hot date.

So yeah it’s fine for people to tease you for being into this carp as it’s totally justified for it is cringe terrible rubbish but if it makes you happy that’s fine too

Apologies for double posting but I feel this needs to be said.

It’s a life skill that you need to learn to be able to laugh at yourself. That takes the wind out of the sales of those who seek to tease you for what you are.

For example imagine you are really fat. If you’re sensitive about it and try to hide it that comes across as weakness. Bullies pick on the weak. They know it will bother you if they tease you for being fat because they can see you’re sensitive about it. Whereas if you were fat and you make it into part your personality and make fat jokes about yourself the bullies can’t ruin your day by calling you fat as you’ve made it clear you don’t care and you can imply that they are dumb for pointing out the obvious. Be the guy that shouts “I’M FAT LETS PARTY!” Rather than the guy who says pls leave me alone being fat makes me sad. Or in this case pls leave me alone I like Beyblades. Find a way to make Beyblade a strong part of your personality.
