gilten was never build up to be the main villain at all he was just their take the main villain . and since you want to play the valt was the main character in didnt still the spotlights same applies to shu he was built ever since s1 as the main rival to valt . if you hate the give shu to spriggan than you should hate all main antagonist and main characters all them have 2 beys in 1 season.
Exactly I hate how they decide to give beys extra evolutions even though they don't need them. Shu wasn't built up to be a villain either. Rival doesn't equal villian. Gilten was actually a manipulative man and Shu was an overgrown toddler.

Shu never was really a antagonist. He was just possesed and manipulated. Given the fact he was just rival to Valt and nothing more

lol shu was built to be the main villain that's why red eye exists it was clear as the sun shu would end up being a bad guy after the lost to lui and free . he wanted power gilten saw it and just made the main villain. again gilten was never meant to be main villain he was just their to create the main villain. give me a burst villain that's a grown up the fact the gilten was a grown man was a give away that he wouldn't be a blader nor the main villain. what happen is that you wanted gilten to be the main villain when he never was going to be one

Shu isn’t horrible, he’s just not cool, people try to make him look cool, but truth is he’s just a Blader with a dual spin bey that never laughs or smiles and is always serious. That’s not exactly a cool character.
