The new Pro Series beys are from Hasbro, but they are heavier than all other Hasbro beys and use the teeth system that TT does. This makes these only compatible themselves within Hasbro only format. And due to this, should it be legal for these beys to be customized with TT burst beys?
I don’t think having them in the hasbro format does the format any justice

I agree. It kind of defeats the purpose of Hasbro only format since the pro Series appears to just be using the same molds as TT, basically allowing TT into Hasbro
Personally, I'm just going to think of the things as Tomy Beyblades I can get at Walmart. I would suggest banning them in Hasbro-Only, and just treating them as Tomy Beyblades. Unless of course we want to cHeAT and say "well, Hasbro DID release a proper Sting/Blitz, so that makes using them in the Hasbro format okay, right?"

yeah i agree if these are allowed in Hasbro only it would ruin the format seeing as the disk and drivers are probably just imported TT partS that they are calling "Hasbro"

Same Takara tomy beyblades in walmart is exactly what I think about it. Maybe once they start releasing a lot of pro series I would say you could unban it from hasbro only
I think maybe pro should get it’s own format.

yeah its a whole new system even cyprus said "oh theres code on it meaning they dont wont you to use tt parts'
Just ban it in Hasbro format, allow it in standard.

I’m also sure the pro series valtryek is slightly heavier so it won’t even be unfair to prevent them from standard. Limited they definitely are getting banned.

Well, Pro Series beys will probably need their own format. But yeah they're essentially TT beys, so they should be banned from Hasbro format.

Do pro beys really need their own format? Just dump them in the standard if they are cross compatible (and maybe limited based on performance) format and be done with them. Isn’t that what happened with sonokong and takara tomy back in the metal fight era? If they aren’t cross compatible then it’s understandable that they receive their own format.

Well these are made by Hasbro but completely different form Hasbro, but at the same time the material makes them different from TT.

That’s true but it’s just a matter of different hardness of plastic which is a lot more of a smaller variation than you may think. Assuming it is cross compatible with takara tomy when it releases, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Fair enough, but if it isn't that my cause some complications

On second thought maybe they should be allowed in standard even if they aren’t cross compatible. I know that sounds crazy but hear me out: we already have a bunch of varying formats as is, and creating a new one for pro series beys would cause another various format to become useless. Additionally, it’s in the wbo’s best interest to allow them in standard as it would allow more bladers to have access to potential competitive beys for the format. We have to remember that the standard format is easily the most prominent format and it would likely side out any pro series format seeing as most organizers tend to host standard format tournaments.

It’s not crazy as we’re in sparking now.

Well you’re right, but hasbro can catch up pretty easily seeing as they release in waves. On top of that, there are still many Cho z layers that pose viable threats even in today’s standard and limited meta. A pro series format would probably end up eating the dust anyways so it would be better for the system to end up in standard. Wouldn’t you rather have the pro series be underused than be totally useless when it’s format gets abandoned?

Problem is they are not viable in standard. None of them are even close.

Wait, but Pro Series in standard would already be underused and totally useless, so I'd rather have a format where they can find a use.

Well the point I was trying to establish is that a pro series format would go untouched to begin with seeing as 70-80% (figuratively) of the tournaments occurring on the wbo are burst standard tournaments. After a week or two the format would pretty much go dead just think about it, when’s the last time a hasbro format tournament was hosted. Additionally, while you are right regarding the fact that the pro series beys aren’t viable atm, the series will surely catch up to the competitive era as hasbro releases their beys in waves and the pro series also has no sub systems like slingshock or hypersphere meaning that there will be zero hiatus as there won’t be a transition in products.

I think you're not considering the fact that Pro Series beys are just TT beys, so a "Pro Format" could allow TT releases with a banlist.

I’m not quite sure I understand what you mean but from what I gathered wouldn’t that just make another format redundant?
