Full Version: Is it normal for my Xceed to be very tight on Imperial?

Hello, I have Xceed and Imperial, so I was thinking of making and Xceed on Imperial combination, however when I inserted the driver, it was extremely tight but the teeth did not register (could not even feel the teeth). However in comparison to a dash driver the dash driver was weaker compared to Xceed, however the dash driver could register the teeth and I heard the clicks. Is this normal? And will it be legal if I bring it to a tournament?
The thing with imperial is that some drivers work well with it and some don’t.
Yes but I couldn't here the clicks or feel the teeth, is that really normal?

I can’t say. I don’t have imperial

The teeth may be really worn out.
Maybe someone else who has imperial and Xceed can reply?

Hmm....not sure then. Maybe Xceed is just being weird lol.
Can you post some pictures of the parts being used? Xceed, Imperial, etc?

It was tight enough for me to use it in a match up where imperial would have normally burster

Unfortunately my phone's camera is broken

However with such a situation would I be allowed to use it in a competition, I only have one imperial and one Xceed so I don't know if it's standard for all imperials and Xceeds?

I'll go grab my Imperial and Xceed and see if they're the same. It could be a specific combination of certain molds, or one of the parts might be fake, or something else entirely.

Edit: Checked, there wasn't any abnormal tightness when I put Xceed on my Imperial.
What disk are you using?

Aren’t painted discs tighter due to the slight extra thickness of the paint?

Also discs like blitz
It shouldn't matter what disk is used, if Xceed is noticeably tighter than other drivers.
The disc does not make a difference just to clarify

Some disks such as paradox and ratchet provide more burst resistance. Same case with frames.

Oh ok. Thanks for the info!

Yes but I think actually paradox make more difference on Master not Imperial
Ok now I know this is not normal, then for my second question. Will this be legal in WBO tournaments?
