I mean Death is good for collection purposes, overall a booster I really look forward to buying

Honestly I wouldn’t even acknowledge this for Solomon, because like I said before it’s the slightest weight difference and the metal is also centralized meaning it would have even less of an effect than it already does. A bey using a full plastic chip or any currently existing metal chip could still very well beat an mcc Solomon combo using the same combo since the actual result would be determined by the launch, stability, and other factors seeing as the weight is too minuscule to make the difference. The weight itself would provide the slightest barely existent advantage. Onto the release as a whole, People are really trying their best to hype this up or view it in a positive light but it’s not that big of a deal, it’s not in your best interest to pay more than retail (since most of us live outside of Japan) just for a tiny chip that barely makes the difference. You could argue that this release has 2B, but 2B isn’t anything crazy based on what most people have said and other chassis are much better at doing whatever it can do so it’s pointless as well, whatever you can get with this booster you can get with Workd Spriggan or Lucifer the End with additional good parts. This booster is getting sugarcoated.
2B is a mid-top tier chassis wdym (fourth or third best overall)

Is it? If it is I’m sorry about being wrong on that (I skipped on World Spriggan so I haven’t got a clue and just made the comment based on what people say). Even so, I still feel like it’s not worth it.
Kei's article it is a mid tier chassis alongside 2S and 2D but imo it's equal/superior to whatever 1S+ can do

2B's same spin performance is basically nonexistent.
And even when awakened, it's opposite spin performance although great, is still below Wheel 1S. You really can't beat those two when it comes to pure stamina, their OWD is just ridiculous.

We already know the full combo and every part that's in it, there's not much need for pictures tbh. Every part in this release has been seen before apart from the driver, and even then the only difference is that it has a metal cap. Some people could probably make the combo right now, if they have the parts.

I don't think 2B is that good just from my experience. It tends to scrape without Drift or Mb or any high drivers i would say that 2B is probably an alright chassis I would much prefer buying this booster if it has 2A, 2S, 2D but either way this release skippable imo but for some it might be really appealing.
Who doesn't have 2B though.

Well this is a mostly irrelevant nerf, if anything. The chassises that Spriggan is supposed to be used for(2B, 2D, 3A, etc.) don't take one less click than usual to burst. The rest don't matter at all, really, since Spriggan isn't something you'll pair them with anyway.
Well except 1S. But I don't remember if the clicks are nerfed for that, and I can't check either since I haven't bought Glide Ragnaruk.

Happy to say I’ll skip on this one. Just out of curiosity, and this is a question for anyone willing to answer, will you be buying this booster? I feel like most people will skip on this apart from serious collectors but I still want to know.
After seeing alot of responses on here now my head is stuck in between getting this booster and not getting it at all🤔🙄

If you have gone for almost anything you could afford up until now and are a serious collector, well I still wouldn’t say go for it since it’ll probably be worthless soon just as all terrible boosters are. If you are an on and off consumer let me tell you that this is a big no. You’re better off getting Glide Ragnaruk or Mirage Fafnir lol.

its definitely not the worst chassis. its like the 2nd heaviest Chassis (2D being the first). Solomon is one of the heaviest chips out there (next to Lucifer2).
personally ill be buying this just for those 2 parts alone.

Surely not the worst chassis, but that generic shape does no favours for it. Regardless, perhaps you see something in this booster that I don’t. Personally, I would say World Spriggan is effectively this booster but better.
That Death Ring and Metal Fusion driver (Please no more lol) is going to make people 😡 and probally not wanna buy the booster lol

Glide Ragnaruk often gets overlooked despite being one of the greatest purchases atm because of the terrible stock combo(rip Glide ring).

Oh boy oh boy where do I begin? Well while I wish they would of chosen different or even made new parts for this bey, I can say that it is both far from the best and far from the worst. So to me this bey sits right in the middle. Now let’s look at all of the parts. First off we have the Death Ring. While this ring is no where near a good competitive ring it still needed another printing. We finally just got another printing of Abyss in the latest random booster back in December, so this was due for one as well. However, was this the product to put it in? Probably not. Over all I’m not that happy with this one, but I can accept it.
Anyway moving forward we have the Solomon chip without a metal chip core. Now without a metal chip core Solomon weighs the same as Lucifer 2. So even though it’s a nice printing it wasn’t really necessary. Granted you can argue that with a metal chip core it is the heaviest sparking chip in the game by about 1 gram, and it’s weigh distribution is also technically better than Lucifer 2’s. However, you do sacrifice that cool rubber burst stopping gimmick. Over all I think this is a good call. Besides it will be nice for everyone to be able to obtain Solomon without paying a $200+ price tag.
Next let’s talk about this spiffy new metal driver! I honestly do not like this one bit. First off they chose to use fusion which I have never used since I have had one. You could argue that it was once good or that maybe it’s good in classic or something. However, as far as I am concerned this driver isn’t one I will use. Not to mention the new gimmick of having that metal system just seems like a bad idea waiting to blow up in Takara Tomy’s face. I know I don’t want to risk the teeth to any of my beys with that driver. As far as I’m concerned it’s a small paperweight to me. Over all this was a really poor decision that I can’t accept.
Finally we have the reprint of the 2B chassis. This I’m actually excited about. I keep reading people going back and forth on weather or not 2B is a good chassis and how it preforms compared to the other competitive chassis. While 2B is not the best over all chassis in the game it does however have 1 job and it does that job better than any other chassis. It’s great for spin equalization combos. One thing I have noticed with Superking beys is that the new parts that have came out have found other parts that they synergize with so well it just puts them on a whole other tier level. This has happened with Rage with 3A, Wheel with xtend+, Universe with 2S, Zone’+Z with 2D, And Drift with 2B. So where it sucks that almost every one should already own a 2B from World Spriggan, it’s still not a bad part and gives people who might have missed the chance to get it another chance. Over all I think 2B was a fine choice, not the best, but fine.
And now I just want to quickly mention why I believe Takara Tomy chose to do this release over something new and exciting. The anime, plain and simple. If you have kept up with the anime then you would know that it is almost over and season 6 comes out in the spring. I believe that April will bring the new release with a new gimmick and with it the new season 6 anime. Now think about it, with a new season just around the corner and the current season coming to a conclusion you have no place to introduce a new bey or character for the show. So what kind of booster do you give without something to promote it? It’s basically a cop out for Takara Tomy, but I can’t fault them for it. Anyway, that’s my thoughts on the upcoming B-179 booster.
