My opinion: Keep it to yourself. If you say you like beyblade to everyone, what'd that help you? Everyone has a hobby, some draw, others play games and we play beyblade. But like it or not, beyblade's target audience are children. There's no problem in play and like beyblade but if say you like playing with toys people may find it weird. So, keep beyblade here at WBO and you won't have any trouble.
Im in 10th grade in high school and I still love beyblade and im not embarrassed or ashamed of it.
Liking beyblade in middle school is nothing to be embarrassed about. If kids at your school dont like it and are making fun of you for it then that is their problem, not yours.
Just keep doing you man.

I am in high school now and I am doing beyblade I have played for several years and I still love the game I would say that to people who don’t play the game it would be weird but personally I think it’s normal to still play beyblade
And don’t ever stop playing just because people think it’s weird
when i got into beyblade a few months back one day i just took them to school and now i've got a whole club that i can play with but i also have the rest of the school bullyinh me for it but you know what its what i chose to do so i don't care you should do the same you never know who might enjoy blading with you
No you can blade at any age look at Valt he is 16 or 17 right now and he is still blading and before you tell me it's just an anime another example I have are leftburst and Zankye

at summer during 2019 I used to play with 2nd graders and bring beyblade to school my friend Dylan really enjoyed it, my friend hunter rarely played, and everyone else laughed but honestly I didnt care. See, I was used to being bullied, teased, and all that so it didn't really bother me. When things got physical though, that's when the kids who are teasing me really got it coming. Obviously, I didnt physically hurt them unless they did so to me first, but when they hit me, oh boy did they get it coming back to them. My advice is just ignore those idiots if they are laughing, if they are watching you maybe invite them to play, and if they aren't doing anything to you, let them mind their own business. If things get physical, you get physical back. Even use the 12 disc if you REAAALLLY need to lol. Beyblades most powerful weapon is the 12 disc.

Honestly, I'd say the worst thing you can do is to try too hard to fit in. The coolest kids are always those who accept who they are without forcing themselves to conform to what everyone else says it cool.
It's never weird to like whatever you like. The key thing is how you behave about it. If you take it super serious and go around like an anime character trying to solve every problem with beyblades, then yeah, that gets a bit weird, but as long as you acknowledge that its a toy aimed at children, and can have a sense of humor about it, you'll find plenty of folk who respect you for owning it.
Sure, there will always be those who laugh, but as long as you can take it in good humor, they shouldn't give you too much grief. Bullies prey on insecurity; if you try and hide it and act embarrassed about it, it'll be like sharks smelling blood, but it you laugh and say "screw you, beyblades are cool!" there's no "fun" in bullying you about it.
Ask anyone 25 and over and you'll probably find every one of them would love an excuse to get their old toys out. Very few things in life have an upper age limit

I am going to grade 6 this year so i'm technically in middle school...
I love beyblade even if people think it is weird, it really doesn't matter what they think since you already know that a lot of middle school(ers?) around the world like it (BTW I mean u guys).
This thread is old, but considering that it’s still in use I’ll share.
It is NOT weird, no matter how old you are to like Beyblades, and I will stand by this. However, I’ve found that there is an abundance of terrible people who will bully you. So, for any blader that sees this: you are not weird, and please, don’t let these people push you around.
This is a pretty sensitive topic for me, and but I am more than willing to talk with anyone if you’re going through this. :)
It’s hard, being bullied for what you love, trust me.
