Full Version: What kind of beys want CWD over OWD?

To my knowledge, Centralized Weight Distribution increases Spin Velocity (how many Rotations you get) whereas Outer Weight Distribution increases Spin Retention (Essentially Stamina). On top of that, CWD makes a bey harder to move, where OWD increases mobility for attack types. So my question is: Are there any beys (or types of beys) that are willing to give up stamina or mobility for the sake of faster spin speeds?
Faster spins isn’t optimal as there is a risk of slow motion burst

Isn't that only a problem for Opposite-Spin Matchups?

Yes but that is why Opposite-Spin matchups are very common. But if I were to truly answer your question I would go with beys that are asymmetrical like Xcalibur since they need the fast spins to burst and get beys to lower stamina. Now you might be saying Jupiter how does Fast spins help in that, well think about it logically; the faster the bey the harder it hits which combined with the unbalancedness (which does help massively in attack) increases the attack power by a lot and the massive hits cause the driver to skip through the burst lock and lose stamina. One drawback to this however is that once it’s done attacking the stamina is non-exsistent.
So Attack Types want it for stronger attacks? Cool! IIRC, CWD makes a bey harder to move, so I assume that you'd want a Stationary Attacker/Burst Attacker like Valkyrie, Roktavor, and (as you already said) Xcalibur.
